Ella does sound like Billie at least when Billie was at her best. One tip off is that Ella always hasa clearer articulation of the words and a more polished arrangement.

With the white supremists after her, (K.K.K.) she had to re-locate to France, a much less racist country than the U.S. She ,naturally was Huge in France and other European Countries.
