  • Could u email me. Eb3131@gmail.com I am in love with that AR and would like to learn how to duplicate it...exactly. Thanks

  • Is it possible to hit the bolt release button while shooting possibly holding the bolt open? ive never played with the ready mag system but really am considering the investment

  • @AaronJRacca while wearing gloves i mean

  • Looks & sounds great-but can add weight & makes your weapon a little more complicated! it also adds bulk-so if you want 2 carbines in one gun case your M4 is no longer low profile!

  • @robertg262 I have a right handed ar, but I shoot left handed. I installed a b.a.d. lever on my kit. It has helped immensely. I can lock the bolt to the rear using my left trigger finger, and when I seat a mag into the magwell, I can release the bolt with my right. Hope this helps.

  • Nice rig.

  • It's not a delusion it's the truth. Unfortunate but true. Was the .05 second faster mag change worth the ridiculous money and extra weight of carrying 2 magazines on the rifle?pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I would spend that money on extra mags and ammo if your that concerned over a zombie outbreak. God knows those suckers can't run fast anyway....

  • @stang976

again.. you just said you would sacrifice your ability to shoot for lower cost.. you made your decision, now live (or die) with it.. but you aren't changing our minds

  • @stang976 ya but have you ever done multiple target training and if your concerned about a zombie invasion that has not happened in human history i would be more concerned about the living ones with the ability to use projectile weapons. Commenting on this video though with the two devices added and training to use them can cut your speed and increase efficiency as well.

  • Nice video but the ready mag is definitely for mall ninjas. If you're in a civilian combat situation and need more than 30 rounds to hit your enemy u should probably just put the gun down and call the police

  • @stang976

People who say stupid crap like that are just deluding themselves

Only an idiot assumes they know what the future might hold and how any potential situation might unfold..

  • @GunWebsites - Will the Magpul B.A.D. be good for a left hander such as myself. Nice set btw.

  • @GunWebsites no one will ever know when a SHTF situation may or will come but on the same hand its all about preference and training with the weapon. over all a great idea. thanks for the vid.

  • @GunWebsites

Since I already have a magpul B.A.D. lever on my carbine will the Redi mag work with it as well?

  • @free4life85

    i can only assume so

  • Nice

  • does the Redi-Mag come in tan?

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0

    nope, just parkerized

  • @GunWebsites oh, thanks for taking the time to reply

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0

you can always paint them though

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0 Duracoat, learn it, use it, love it.

  • @redmunkee i would love to get into suracoating things but last time i got carryed away, first i did my ar then my walls, then my couch, then everything i could possibly do. after all that i did i was always tripping over my dog and i cant fing the washroom >:D

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0 That's because duracoat has crack in it, once you inhale the fumes while painting, you'll want to paint everything in sight just to keep up the high.

  • @redmunkee LOL so true

  • hey what kind of scope and mount is that? the rifle looks so sweet dude, also where did you buy all of these upgrades?

  • Does the second mag ever get in the way when trying to clear a double feed?

  • @haksan823

i imagine it can, but i don't hear that complaint much.. or ever really

  • whered you buy your pmags! iv been looking around for them and i dont know if i should straight from magpul or what

  • @ZackPorter2010

DSGArms.com has the best price on PMags.

  • Very nice set up!! Love it!!! I was debating on the redimag but I was unsure of the bulky weight and so on but truthfully it beats the hell out of a coupler.

  • lolz someone reads WAY too much guns and ammo

  • Nothing wrong with sticking tools on your rifle if you have a legitimate use for them. Just remember that the mission drives the gear and not the other way around. As for training, it doesn't matter if your former [insert whatever HSLG unit here] any true professional out there knows that you never stop training, and you never know everything. Past experience is nice to have but 4 everyday day you are not out progressing your skill set is 1 day lost to the guy that is still is.

  • Hi I dont suppose you could tell me how much the redi mag weighs? also what is it made out of ?

  • how do you put it on i just ordered it for my M&P15

  • I love this way of releasing the bolt!

It was really annoying with the G36 at the Bundeswehr to release the bolt by grabbing it on the upper reciever and give it a slight pull to reload the weapon. I've never shot the m4 but I can see it costs time.

Look at the XM-8's system to release the bolt! it's a button inside the trigger guard! So no extra bar hanging around inside the trigger guard, no place missing! Fast way to reload a mag.

But this is some great customization to an ar-15.

  • my dad has one of those on his ar

  • Can you switch with ease between right / left handed shooting with that rail mounted sling swivel?

  • @GunWebsites ..I don't mean take the swivel off the rail, but can you shoot from inside the sling while the front swivel is on the opposite side?

  • @gmanflyairforce3

yes, quite easily and with no obstruction at all

  • gee. 6 years in the Israeli paratroopers recon, Gaza, west bank, Lebanon, never needed all this BS. Stop loading crap on your gun, nothing of this stuff will make you a better fighter, don't full yourself.

I'm not saying the ideas are bad (the bolt release is actually nice) but com'on, the M4 is good enough as it as - put your time and money into the only thing important - training training training.

  • @yonataneshel ...eh...you dont really need to spend money on training. I suppose you could use whatever you learned from prior service, or just sit down and think about what works and what doesn't...then try it at home and at the range. I get your point though

  • @gmanflyairforce3

I agree with training, and the importance of training from people who know what works so you train efficently

    ..

but not with this "only my gear is perfect" attitude this guy has

  • @GunWebsites no my attitude is not "only my gear is perfect" sir. My attitude is - stop spending money and time on adding more and more crap-toys to your guns, toys that were made from the will to make money more than from a real need. It's not about "my gear", it's about the attitude you're selling, according to which a gun is a show-off ground to load whatever you can afford on. it is not. it is a weapon. a tool.

  • @yonataneshel

So if someone can fight with just a spoon, the whole world can only fight with spoons??

Get over yourself, not everyone is the same as you.

We will continue to do what we want with our firearms.. you can continue to assume you are better than everyone else as you fight in the dark with your 'lightweight' wonder-rifle

  • @GunWebsites ??? my lightweight wonder rifle is exactly what your rifle used to be before you loaded in with double its weight of add-ons and flashy toys. It's not about who fights better, it's about the principle that guns are not toys and are not for amusement, they are not cars to show off with. Don't be offended, this is not my goal. I'm just saying that there's a reason why the guys whos guns are the flashiest are the airsoft - coz these r toys.

  • @yonataneshel

    Look you are a fool..

either you will learn you are NOT correct or you won't,.

But until that day go wipe your comments on some other channel where they agree with your limited, narrow opinions

We dont make videos for YOU, and we sure as heck don't build our guns for YOU.. we are not interested in your incorrect opinion of light.. go live in the dark with a lightweight rifle

  • @yonataneshel ..lol...arguing over the better weapon platform..c'mon man. In another aspect, thats whats so great about the M4 over the Ak47. It can be customized to personal preferences. So what works for one person won't always work for someone else.

  • @yonataneshel wow im sure your a total badass, im mean the israeli defense force is op notch i could not imagine being part of a genocidal war machine going up against Palestinians with rocks, when all you have are tanks, fighter jets and firearms. BTW i was a U.S. Navy Corpsman (FMF) 1st Marine Recon Bn. and have been to israel and "trained" IDF during joint exercises, you guys suck balls ive seen it first hand, although the women in the IDF had some skills but that was in our barracks :)

  • the new ver. of the ready mag is kind of a burden on lefties cause you need to either reach around with your left hand or take your primary hand off

  • isnt it easier to get a mag clamp?

  • @DarkWorld2450

    cheaper, yes

from a few feet away they look the same, but they don't work the same

    Apples and oranges IMO

  • @GunWebsites I'll back that up. Just installed a redi-mag on a 10" LWRC M6A2 - Mag changes are lightning fast and at least for me, more user friendly than two mags clamped together.

  • @DarkWorld2450 Yes, it is easier to get or make a mag clamp, but the redi-mag system is much better. When using a mag clamp and you go to your 2nd mag; you got a empty magazine hanging off the side of the gun. And when you go to reload the 2nd time, you have to pull out a whole new magazine. With the redi-mag, during a lull you can reload the device and keep a spare mag constantly ready.

  • @DarkWorld2450 i think when it comes to the Mag clamp you might just accidentally just drop bothmags. and plus the red-mag just allows you to getrid of the empty one. also another advantage when it comes to tac reloads. just my opinion.

  • What type of optic and mount is that? thanks

  • aimpoint in a LaRue mount

  • its an ampoint m2, im not sure what mount tho.

  • LT-129

  • Where can I purchase a ready mag v1?

  • i'm pretty sure this is the difference. v1 releases both mags when you press the mag release. which is bad, but i'm not gonna go into the reason, if you watch aottc you will see what travis has to do to clear double feed. v2, releasing the mag in the redi mag is independent, meaning you press another lever to take the mag out.

  • did u have the choice between the v1 and the v2 bolt release? if so what was the reasoning behind choosing the v2 over the v1? I want to get one of these but it seems like the v1 would be just as good and its $20 cheaper.

  • v2 is welded right? I think thats why he decided on that one

I think the idea is the welded version would be stronger

  • is it welded? i can't tell by the picture from the website. I guess if it's welded i'd get the v2 also.

  • ummm. I'll need to look again now that you ask the question, but I am pretty sure it's welded .. I know it's permanently on the bolt catch though, not just bolted on

  • v2 doesnt release at same time as v1, so if you get a double feed, and need to strip the magazine out to clear the malfunction, you still have the 2nd magazine ready in the gun so as soon as teh old mag is stripped out, charging handle cycled, jam cleared, with BAD device, on third cycle, it can be locked back (the bolt) and then you can independantly release the 2nd magazine, switch it over into primary location, push down on BAD device and send the bolt home on live round, continue fighting.

  • I can't wait to the battery assist to hit the selves.

  • BAD came out today on many websites like AIM, bravo company but it sold out in the same day lol

I ordered 3 of them $28.45 each at AIM

  • I wish I had gotten one too.. are you going to do a video review?

  • nah i wont, sorry

  • well let us know how you like them

  • its out, has been out for 2-3 weeks I think :)

  • I have a stag arms lefty. can this package be used for a lefty?

  • its a good idea and you know what your talking about, but... the sa80 has a better version of the extended bolt release thing because you only have to use one hand. EVER!

  • ...which means you never need to take your right hand off the pistol grip.

  • were can i get the Redi-Mag and Battery Assist Device

  • Comment removed

  • I swear he AR-15 has more custom add-ons and attachments than there are snowflakes in a blizzard. Don't ya just love Magpul?

  • I agree and Yes I do

  • the Dark Earth color looks really nice i think ill DuraCoat my barrel and accessories in this color

  • sorry..just rewatched it, version 2

  • Yup, I'll make a note of it in the video info too
