  • DUDE STOP SAYING "ACTUALLY"

  • please help, if there was liquid damage will they replace it?

  • had my laptop muted for 5 secs dont know how but i knew ur english wasnt american by the way u look/mouth moved haha.

  • i just use my mac for 12 hrs and i have battery problem and got it replaced

  • I didn't back to the apple store because isn't much problem,i mean is just the tabs that you use to take out the memory modules that is a bit strange in the corner, isn't big deal and it just work but i can say that if i ask may i get a replacement ..If you honest they too..

I hate when people lie like happen to me,someone buy my macbook and after playing with friends they put water inside and it broke so he call me and say that is wrong,i go apple store and they fix it for free ..

  • He take my details and told me to wait and back with a new iMac that i take and back home. They didn't check it of if yes they did it really quick, was a great experience.

After a year or two i buy another iMac and after few months when i update ram i see that the plastic is a bit damage.

  • sign what was true and that it doesn't boot that was true and that other employer told me to bring it to get a replacement what was true,so the apple employer say that yes that is a hard drive failure and that i can get a replacement.

  • It happen to me,at some point a few weeks new iMac from the apple store show a hard drive with a interrogation symbol like that one ? so i go regent street apple store and ask some employer and it told me that is a hard drive crash so advice me to bring it to the store to get a replacement,i go home get the iMac and back to the apple store and say to other employer that the iMac show a hard drive with a ? ..

  • Wow omg! Both the Apple worker AND the customer in this vid over-use the word 'actually' - Who'dathunkit :)

  • Did you shave your bum hole before you called Apple customer relations?

  • kind of a strange video

  • hey mine is like battery failed once (before one year +_+ and now im having my webcam as "not available" and my bluettoth "not aavailable and my keyboard light is problematic too... but i havent brought it to applecare.. im in singapore btw so im not very sure if the personnel there would be as kind? :( would they replace one for me? i mean i prefer to keep mine but it seems to me that mine is a bit of a failure.. would multiple hardware failures grant replacement?

  • they sent me a macbook pro unibody 15inch to me deployed in afghanistan and the wireless card was broken. then i had to ship my 2100 dollar dvd player to my mother in the states because of apple's very convenient "no shipping to APO/FPO" policy... at a cost of 60 dollars each way. then after 47 days.. i got it back.. still broken. apple is so awesome. so i am now waiting until my deployment is over to hand delivery it to a store and walk out with a new one..

  • So, did you have to send your old mac to them ? or did they just send you a new one ?

and do APP cover it when the mac is broke by a fall down from the table ?

  • My dad had his cracked iPhone 4 completely replaced for free. Thanks apple.

  • were you recording this with your macbook? haha

  • You sound camp...

  • OMG! HE ACTUALLY GOT A HUMAN ON THE PHONE! lol.

  • Does saying "actually" help? :D

  • gay!!!

  • 3:53 "Keep your cum."

  • Had my iMac repaired 4 times, took it in for the 5th and now it's being upgraded. Albiet with a brand new (2 years newer!) iMac!!!! Man, what a journey that has been, found this video searching for tech support about it.

It's a good service, I wouldn't suggest trying to scam it like this. Especially if they test it and find out you're lying, you'll lose all credibility.

Dunno why people are saying they'd 'demand' a swap after multiple failures. Don't know of anywhere that'd honor that demand.

  • Wow, some of you people have no shame..

Having a perfectly good working unit, and deliberately breaking and or LYING to get get a new or upgraded unit,

What a disgrace!!!! Legally it IS fraud as well. Here's hoping it catches up with you soon.

  • If I had a laptop that had experienced 3 hardware failures within a year I would expect a replacement at minimum. When companies hand out replacements so easily you can't help but think there is just something wrong with the product.

  • Hey. I just wanted to know if this really works. Do you promise that this has worked for you?

  • man all those apple employees look the same

  • Yes, it all depends on your demeanor. I had a genius advise me, after a 2nd incident in which i had to send it in, that if it happened again to call, be polite, tell them how much you love being a Mac user after switching over from Windows and how this constant failure just isn't something that you've been used to with your mac. Sure enough, on the 3rd failure, i called and they exchanged my G4 iBook with a black MacBook.

  • Yeah apple is really nice if you are nice when you talk to support... Like my iPod was completely smashed and they managed to get it replaced under the warranty even tho it was my fault for dropping it...

  • it didnt work

  • @iTechNetwork how so

  • @randomrazr i tried it on my very old iBook G4 that the screen broke

  • @iTechNetwork then that would explain why it wouldnt work lol, cant do an old computer

  • was yours really broken ?

  • do i have to use an accent?

  • SO MANY ACTUALLY!

  • What if I referred to them as "the bile that leeks from a homeless mans anus.." And then asked them quietly to "Stand in the middle of a busy street and set your hair on fire.. While grown men whom you care a great deal for, point and laugh at you."

Do you think I would get my way?

How bout later if I sent a flaming bag of poo to their PO BOX so it just sits in there in that tight space just making the hole box smell horrible.. Then I would email them, "BTW, I lied I don't own a Mac.."

  • But what if, say, I'm an asshole that has a working macbook pro but I'm in love with the new one, Can I trick apple and get a new (model) unit? Because the truth is, I got my macbook pro (13", 2.4ghz) in january 2011, and knowing that the new ones are just around the corner, I got a feeling that I'll want the new one :P

So can I get a replacement unit without showing it to them?having purchased this unit in an authorized reseller in korea, will the warranty work in a reseller in germany?thx

  • @igouroum dude they have to look at it and inspect it first....there not stupid

  • piss

  • British accent + American flag = u r BRAMERICAN....hohoho

  • thumbs up for the tripod in the background. i thought it was justin bieber

  • 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm is that a bad hard drive

  • I did this with an iPod Touch, there wasn't actually anything wrong with it, it just had a tiny scratch so i didn't like it anymore, so I told them my battery wasn't holding charge when it actually was fine. Without question, they gave me a paid postage number for my old one and sent me a brand new one.

  • Wow, I had a problem similar to this and got a new macbook pro. I had 6 hard drive failures and my dad told them to get me a new one because they said that if it happens again, I'm getting a new one. My model was a late 2009 version, the one they gave me was a 2010 version, 2.66 GHz i7 instead of Intel Core Duo 2 2.8 GHz

This isn't what I did, but shake your macbook pro and you'll get a hard drive failure, then bring it to apple store and they will give you a new hard drive, 4 times

  • and they also give you your old warranty and a new warranty and extend it for the new computer

  • how do u get them to upgrade your laptop without ACUTALLY having real hardware failures? Do i lie to them and tell them that i had it three times? Should i suggest a upgrade or something? thanks

  • @terry947 LOL? 1. They have records on all your past phone calls/services for your computer. 2. It would be fraud if you lied. 3. They actually require proof (sending the machine in for repair) of a problem before they will replace it.

  • did u get a ssd? or anti-glare screen. which macbook would u recomend as i am saving for one. thanks : )

  • @uxa1 so what apple has more money than we can count...

  • Did your laptop actually have those faults or was you making that up?

  • uck .i call them and they say that is no way to get replacement .....and the only option is to send it for repair .i have fray graphic card ... they say that they gonna repair it .. fuckkkkkkk

  • Comment removed

  • i now know how to speak to someone more efficiently that is with a computer company if something were to go wrong and needed them to fix it thank you

  • I like this video but you said actually 31 times

  • do you think saying piss will get it replaced

  • It worked for me lol

But it depends on how you sat it. keep everything in a "jokey" manner

  • @mitch625 hehe.

  • glad it helped buddy

  • Well this isn't anywhere near how it went for me. My Mac is having multiple stacks and stacks of issues, and they're refusing to do anything, they tell me it's all 'normal' which isn't true. Sick of it, and them, and Apple.

  • @uxa1

How is it fraud if your macbook is really having problems. All your doing is getting a new macbook. Do you really want to be taking back and forth you laptop to the apple store? Thats he reason you purchase a reliable computer. In that case, why not buy a low end computer. As a college student, I need a reliable computer for my work assigned by my professors.

  • @BIGAIRLIKE23 hi im a student too. did you encounter multiple problems on hardware like mine? i have had battery failure, bluetooth unavailable, hinge just went loose after 2 months and now my keyboard lights and webcam are useless.. (spoled) i havent brought this to applecare (busy w exam) what u said is exactly my sentiment. its too troublesome to go multiple times to applecare to get repairs.. am i allowed to ask 4 replacement then?

  • @wannadontwanna

I got a replacement for the following problems: wifi issues, hinge creaking, extremely loud superdrive

    and sudden freezes.

I now have a 2011 MBP 15 inch and I am having wifi issues and faulty superdrive. I could care less

about the superdrive as I don't use mine but the wifi issues are unacceptable.

My sister Samsung 9 series laptop (beautiful laptop) and my PS3 never have these WIFI issues

so I know it is not my router but my MBP.

Call them nicely and ask for a replacement.

  • @BIGAIRLIKE23 oh... ic.. by freeze do u mean like when u want to navigate via your mousepad touchpad whatever.. its like its not responsive? (sometimes i experienced that and my software likes to quit on its own even after reinstallation.. haha. no matter shall bring my com down thre soon :) thanks anyways..

  • @wannadontwanna

Well for one, when I would be scrolling on Safari, sometimes it would get choppy and then get that OSX spinning beach ball and get stuck lol.

Others would be stuck on the blue screen. Touchpad worked 100% in photos and itunes and what not but when the mbp showed that damn Beach Ball, the touchpad was unresponsive and I had no other choice but to force a shutdown.

  • @BIGAIRLIKE23 aww that sucked haha. yea.. lets see how the y say about my case hahah. thanks aniways.. excet for the unfortunate glitches mbp is still an awesome laptop haha

  • OMg it fucking works, i just got a update on my iPhone to 32GB!!!!!!

    THX so much

  • So actually, and actually, we can actually, ye well actually, which actually , AHHHHH shhh!

  • haha this is hilarious acting.

    well done thou! cheers

  • so many takes, trust me lol.

    I suck :)

  • @mitch625 i know this video is old but do you think it would work if i had multiple problems with my computer before but this time the screen is broken? i really would like it to get replaced...

  • do u need apple care

  • If you get a laptop, its a definite yes.

  • every week

  • Actually

  • I got my macbook upgraded to a macbook pro

  • yee jalexandref representin the porkchops haha whoop lol btw mitch you are unbelievably gorgeous andI enjoy watching them!

    Cheers, Ashley

  • no offense or anything but listening to you talk for more than 3 minutes at a time makes me want to stab myself in the chest

  • Isn't that illegal if it isn't faulty?

  • @Rocktheworldbymusic I don't know

  • @TheEdinburghOne, well not exactly. If you are really having problems like described this is somewhat helpful. However if you go out of your way and do something to your computer (ie. break the screen), and then call them up with this stunt then it's considered fraud.

  • btw did u buy apple care

in canada apple suck there geius bar is really bad :(

  • I got my macbook replaced and got a macbook pro and they didnt ask me about insurance i got i replaced and all my data transferred into my new computer

  • hey darryl, great vid watched it a couple of times but on my macbook (aluminum) i have a line down my screen when im watching a youtube video(full screen) and i get a lot of overheating when use anything like flash. so from the experience you got, do you think they would send me a new computer if so do you think it would be the current 13" Macbook pro? thanks for your time, Chris

  • @ChrisMac1996 Did you get your replacement?

  • no i didnt TheEdinburghOne, when i called apple care and told them all of problems, we came to the conclusion that my video card was shot and he suggested for me and my family to go more then 100 kilometres away from my home for a day trip and see if a couple guys at this one shop could do anything which would then result in me without a computer for a couple days because i do all my school work on it. he didnt even suggest a replacement and when i asked for any other options he said none.

  • Hello Mitch. Thank you so much for posting this video. i am a pretty bad situation and need a tip from you but would rather not get into the details on here as part of the situation is personal. Do you have a website or an email or something, where I can write you? I would greatly appreciateit. You'll understand why I couldn't explain it here. Thank you so much for this fantastic video!

  • You can private message him...

  • Hello Mitch, I thank you so much for this video. I am in desperate need of some help with this. Thing is I don't want to get into the details here on Youtube. Would you mind greatly if I asked your advice on email or something? Don't worry I am not tryng anything. Just desperate at this point. Thanks!

  • good tips!! but i noticed your a tad nervous on camera.

  • was yours really broke?

  • lol.. when I get my new MacBook, ill do this though it isent broken! LOL

  • why u will already have the latest software and stuff

  • @AllAroundBang

they check it before they send a new one dummy

  • why do you have a american flag if your english? shouldn't you have england's flag?

  • he like america and he want to become an immigrant by coming over to america.

  • How do you know hes English , he could be welsh ?

  • I dont' know if hes english im just assuming.

  • @222apple222

dude i'm from bristol UK he is not welsh dude lol

  • I know , someone just assumed it was from England .

  • I am Portuguese, and I have a world map and a Danish flag... should I have a Portuguese flag instead ?

  • OMFG! it worked they sent me a brand new Mac mini!

  • haha nice video!

  • ok what if my hard drive has failed, the screen flickers and the fan is broken? I replaced the hard drive myself? Also my mac is out of warranty by a few months and i didnt use apple care before it ran out...can anyone shine some light on this situation. I believe for all of this stuff to happen to my macbook within a month, i have a faulty machine. please message me or reply to the comment

  • u should be able to get it replaced warranty shouldnt matter for that I mean thats just a system failure. Go into the apple store if you can. They were really helpful to me and i got upgraded from a macbook to a macbook pro and they transferred all my data and hardrive, memory and processor

  • Why do people need to be taught how to speak on the phone?. This is a waste of time - you're basically teaching the public how to scam Apple, in not so many words, right?. This is one of THE worst and most badly acted videos I have ever watched.

  • hahah omg... i just read this half way the video... SO tRUE!

and oh i was so sure ur gonna pick ur nose while on the phone!

  • Dude make a vid at least once a week. I find urs interesting. They aren't like most of the other videos out there. U get to the point and ur audio and video quality make it even better.

  • if they check ur records im guesing ull have to of had it repalced before also does it still have to be in warrenty I paid close to 2grand for my mbp and u get 1 year warrenty, it still works but I was annoyed that all the ruber feet fell of the bottom at the same time (it is on a desk most of the time) there no apple retail stores near me and my warrenty run out so they wouldnt fix it 270 quid for 3 years protection, ud expect with the initial expense standard warrenty would be longer

  • is there a way to get applecare after your 1 year is up? even if you need to pay like 2 as much.

  • I had something like this happen to me as well. After taken my 20 iMac in for a second or third time they replaced it for me. The 24 inch just came out so I paid $300 bucks for the upgrade and they gave me one with a bigger HD than my old one and a faster processor. When I priced out the new iMac it was close to $1000 more than my old one. I was so happy.

  • I know its pretty fantastic.

  • hi, is yor mac actualy broken? or is this like a scam

  • Yeah, good luck XD

This will only work if you've had multiple previous failure's. Manufacturers actually get pretty annoyed when a machine is repaired more than once. So rather than hope the machine doesn't fail again after being fixed, they send you a new one.

  • There's gonna be a million calls to apple hahah!

  • How to speak to someone on the phone. Super.

  • is there a way to make hardware fail?

  • hammer + mac

  • Dude you have to make more videos!!! i would say you are pretty much up there with the Soldierknowsbest guy. Keep making more vids though dude.

  • i want you to do videos every day lol :P

  • I have a white MacBook that I bought right before going to Iraq last year. When I got back I started noticing issues so I called Apple and they were fantastic. I have never had that level of service before. I sent my MacBook in and they sent it back repaired. Turn around time: 5 days, thanks to the weekend. I am an Apple customer for life.

  • Sweet, I have a 17'' MacBook Pro too. It's awesome.

  • That's great ; )

Can you make a video of your new MacBookPro ?? 17" ??

  • cheeeeeeeeeesier than a french delicatessen

  • Do you have to have Apple Care to get your unit replaced or can you have an out of warranty MacBook Pro?

  • no you don't and just having a system failure shouldn't matter with the warranty. Their pretty helpful which is great and will upgrade you if you had plenty of problems with your computer

  • you are really freaking hot, damn your adorable! You need to model, your sexy!

  • wish gateway was like this with my old gateway.. only had one problem with this macbook i got in 2008 and it was a quick fix.

  • Haha, excellent. You have great tips, well worth subscribing everyone!

  • u asked: how often... do i blablabla... ok i want to see u in every Video!

  • great advice.... apple representatives are the easiest people to deal out of every company i had to make a call too... they are really great... not one bad experience for me

  • You do great videos!

  • Great job mate!! Excellent video keep it up

  • Positive attitude is key, but beware of lying about the failures. I have seen AppleCare charge people for those upgrades or for the entire replacement if the failure can not be reproduced or the unit shows signs of accidental damage.

  • I am going to get certified pretty soon and if someone was to speak this nicely to me this would definitely work.

  • This would be great info if I actually had a Mac :) but I really liked listening to the way you described how to talk to their customer service.. very cool.. keep up the great videos!

  • solid acting mate

  • Easiest way to get a totally new computer "Worked for me". So I pretended to be a student who needed it for school work and just cry. 2 mins later. Done!!

  • you should work at apple customer relations

  • When ever I call, I always request to speak to a Tier II representative (above the regular tech guys) and I got a new iphone. Just a little tip.

  • what's tier 2?

  • From what I understand, you have two levels (Tier I and Tier II). Tier I's are are the people you first speak to in the Technical Support. Tier II's are their supervisors who have more power. Darren is right don't be overly aggressive with the Tier II. If you think you have shot of getting a replacement with apple due to previous issues, immediatly request you speak with a Tier II or a Supervisor. I got to a Tier II and he granted me a Warrenty Exception ( I was 26 days past on my iPhone.)

  • what kind of upgrades did you get?

  • Got off the phone with them and been upgraded to the high 17" MBP

  • wow!!!!

  • most days

  • at 1:05 you look like your picking your nose lol!!!

  • thats what i was thinking

  • You should upload videos everyday!

  • Hey Mitch,

I called Apple today and was on the phone for at least 30min speaking to tech support and customer relations. They said they don't send out replacement products unless they actually physically have the problem product and can see whats wrong with it. Just a tip for people who try calling.

  • make a vid as often as you can

  • make a vid once a week :D

  • wait, is this a real call?

  • well hmmmm. let's think here. a man who is in a very similar room that looks EXACTLY like him and sound JUST like him picks up the phone.......i don't quite think it is real.........

  • Well how am I suppose to know?

  • ok i'm sorry. didn't mean to be so rude. but seriously this time, i think the call itself might be real, but him on the "other line" is obviously fake. can be kind of a jerk some times with comments. sorry

  • You better be sorry, yeeesshh

  • thanks

  • Deep Excavations... lol

  • i had that same scramble problem with the screen! dude i sh!# myself

  • i soooo bet that some people after watching this video are gonna set their macs on fire and say it over heated and hope to get a new one

  • u should do at least 1 vid a week cuz they are good lol

  • you hold your phone weird

  • he seems bi.... like his room though

  • i say u make more videos for this channel and the other one... and bring the towel back haha

oh and what is that tripod doing in the bed? haha kind of random...

  • Apple has always been hell to me!!! i get put through to some place in india and they never have a clue!!!

  • Common sense -.-

  • Dose your system already have to be fried or you making this stuff up to get some new specs?

  • Reviews please... reviews.

  • idc just get me more videos
