  • Nice vid man, thats a pretty dog. RIP Zac. What was the black car towards the end?

  • @Buchta179 Thanks for the comments and respect for Zac. The black car is a Tamiya TL-01 (not TL-01B) and has rc4wd rock stompers, 4:1 RC4WD reducer, 55t novak, gmade 2.2 wheel wideners 25mm. If you look in my list of videos you will see one video called TL-01 dirt crawler. Thanks.

  • i got me a kit but i want to put a traxxas brushless kit in it will it work?

  • about how long and how hard is it to build this thing?

and does it come with electornics?

  • @slashrks4lyf i am pretty sure it took me around 6 or 7 hours to build spread over a few nights. motor/trans one night, axles and suspension another, and chassis/body etc the next. i took it easy and had no problems. it was my first tamiya kit, and found the instruction manual very good to work with. The packaging and labelling of all components is excellent and you compare each part to 1:1 pictures in the manual. Helps confirm correct screw etc. It comes with a stock 540can motor. no ESC etc.

  • lol the dog

  • @RamRodRacer thanks, his name was Zac and is no longer with us. RIP ZAC

  • damn.. those tires sure sling up a ton of mud

  • you need bigger wheels

  • i have some but they are you small

  • OMG!! GIANT DOG!! WATCH OUT!!!

  • do the axles come locked or with a locker?

  • you have the option of both as it is a kit you build. you can run unlocked or you can insert the supplied grub/pin screw to lock it. If you ever want to swap between, you just pop off a rubber grommet and remove/install the grub pin. done.

  • Ive got a scx10 and I ordered the 1.9 mudslingers but they dont fit and there quite smaller than the 1.9 flatirons, anyone have ideas?

  • buy some 1.9 hpi stock car rims +6mm offset (cheap) and glue the mudslingers to them instead (use weights too if you want). only proline tires generally fit that type of beadlock rim on the scx10. hope this helps.

  • ohh was wondering why they were so muc smaller and they wasnt even close to fittin on my rim, hahaha thanks

  • where u get this.......how much???

  • bought from tcscrawlers about a year and a half ago. was around $350 US at the time.

  • looks like ur dog is having a blasty back their lol nice hilux

  • yeah he was ! he nabbed a sock of mine and killed it lol. thanks for comment

  • it looks a little weak

  • lol thats because i don't go flat knackers everywhere. i drive to scale.... these vids are crap anyway.... check out the newer ones. much better. It aint gutless, it's just all torque. no speed.

  • Lol, 1:17, cool dog. XD

  • kinda cool. looks real until you see the giant dog.lol is it a good thing to add some weight to these trucks? maybe a couple of pounds would be good

  • weight down low is a great idea. more upfront if you like hillclimbs. Thanks for commenting

  • the mud slingers are just like the interco bogger a little tires spin and your on the axles

  • it looks like a scale replica of the tank trap but no water

  • nice rig....

  • thanks !

  • loosen the suspention

  • no shit hehe. it was the first vid/run in it stock. main leaf, plus two helpers. it did not know what flex was :) as you can see in later vids, flex is there

  • lol if that was my dog you would have to pry the truck from her teeth

  • ahhhh its the attack of the giant dog lol nice video

  • I have just picked up some S.D.I Trail Doctors which are still 1.9 but alot taller. New vid soon

  • Is there any larger tires in the Tamiya inventory? Those things are tiny.

  • never ran it with the shocks, but i believe they do limit the flex. I did build the track and it's even better now. Mudslingers just kick arse on most loose surfaces plus i can't see those "dirt claws" in a 1.9

    Cheers

  • the kind of tires u want for dirt are called HpI dirt claws..

  • hey did u build the track... if so sweet.. also why use mud tires in dirt???

  • is it better without the shocks?

  • lol thanks. Because i didn't want to damage any of the other parts till i have it pretty much all sorted. Now has portal axles, R2, 60t motor, punisher shafts. will post video up soon.

  • The best is the dog with the smely sock :-))

No, it is nice, but why you didnt finished the body?

  • danm them tires are tiny. but still a bad ass truck whered ya get it?
