It´s in fact an old Monty Python joke that was made in the Monty Python movie "Live at the Hollywood Bowl".

Even me as a German knows this.

The Monty Pythone joke:

"American beer is like making love in a canoe. It´s fucking close to the water."

BTW:

I´ve never ever saw it in the German TV.

So I hope you are now able to understand this "German" joke....

Hate to be a beer snob but after my trip to the 'motherland', I literally can't drink another American beer... especially Budsheisser. American beers taste like carbinated piss while Bavarian beers have such a pure, clean taste. BevMo has a great German selection including Franziskaner.
