hi, i cant believe you dont know music theory i have played stringed instruments for years and still am learning , do you have perfect pitch? for your info, it would help if you would tell us what key you are playing....
HI John would it be possible to have you put the backup from band in the box for 12 bar blues I really like this one .I know thay are guys like me .that would realy help out to have backround while thay are lurning it. I have a few sound tracks that i apply the cords you showed me .the digital strobe tuner realy helps the cords sounds better.I like that cord that lowers the 9 string a lot i am working on please release me with that one . I once again say thank john. jim.
@Jasonguitarman Hi Jason, I have 3 pedals on this E9th neck and in all honesty I could not tell you which is which..... all I know for sure is that I pedal with the Huntley/Day Set up and it is the opposite way around from the Emmons method..
Great eplanation, John. I took on a pedal steel as a challenge when I retired last week. I have played regular guitar since I was 10. This is a lot different!.
Your video also showed me how to put the picks on my 2 fingers!!
Beautiful playing John! Keep posting !! Don't feel silly posting these videos, they're indeed helpful...and for someone who "don't understand" music .. you seem to do a fine job playing/teaching =)
John, This lesson was awesome. You opened my eyes to a lot of good stuff that I can do on the E9 neck. I will add you to my subscriptions. I look forward to more from you. Thanks a bunch. Perry
THANKS JOHN you teach stuff that a beginner can pickup on.I think you understand where the beginner like me is at this is grate from a pro like you .your frind JIM Benfield.
As usual your doing a great job. These little things really help the new players bring out the best in themselves. Learning it and living it. The PSG code.
Thanks Rick, its people like you that leave a nice comment that make it worthwhile doing.. Also thanks to Uncle Roy of the BSS for pointing out that I had left out the pedal information on the third chord......This I have now corrected......

Thanks for your work J.
I'm taking my first steps and I'm lost in the fog!.
Keep up with those videos for begginers. It's almost impossible to find a pedal steel teacher here in Buenos Aires.
Best regards!.
