I'm not in America, Im in UK and the the trailer has came from an official UK source of the trailer who gave me the permission to upload the trailer. if koch bothered to see the last part of the trailer and actually recognise its a co.uk adress for the film but they state its american trailer. I would n't upload anything without permission i got permission but still they state ive violated american laws though ....
Well, personally I think the system is fully automated and has a lot of quirks! The problem lies the the internet intellectual property laws. They give full power to the record labels and to the movie industry. They can essentially shut you down with a stroke of a button and from what I hear, SOPA if approved will give thne more power to even make websites disappear from internet registries if they violate intellectual property, What we need is a strong freedom of speech Attorney to fight this!

Lets sit back and review this. Recently Youtube decide to start forcing people to tie their account to an email address. Then people start getting flagged by Koch. Feel free to correct if I am wrong but doesnt that sound a bit odd? I find out about this after one of my lame videos, clearly a pisstake that would only be understood by a few close friends, gets flagged by Koch or E1 Entertainment as we know them. I will delve further as I am not 100% sure they own the Carry On Movie franchise.
I recorded my giving a preview of my OWN game which I drew my OWN sprites and programmed it all by my SELF and what do I get? An E-mail teling me my Game belongs to Koch entertainment.
You are not the only one. There are all kinds of folks claiming that they own Public Domain titles. Craze Productions is another culprit. I have sent several emails to the copyright department on this, and there response is to say that they don't get involved in copyright claims. Yet- I wouldn't be surprised if this lands in court because there is now commerce involved. Youtube is acting as a syndicator and cannot ignore this much longer...

I put up a video of one of their artists named Slim Thug. It was one of his new singles, i put the vid up a month and a half ago. The vid, since that date had 330k views. As soon as the views shot up, they had YT send me a complaint notice, and a strike against my account.

If you make a video with educational purposes you don't violate a copyright. Even, if you use an audio for a video and you don't gain any money on it, you are not violating a copyright. But one thing is truth. You need to put a credit to the music author and/or artist. If you make it, YOU DON'T GO TO HAVE A TROUBLE.

i just got a message from koch entertainments saying something about copywriting but its all my own work cause i filmed it myself with sims 3. The only thing that isnt mine is the doctor who music from the cd album by bbc national orchistra of wales. If its because of the music then thats just stupid cause what else are you supposed to do, i brought the album and other albums to ro make my own programes or music videos which is what nearlly everybody does when they have sims 3 and music.

I have the same problem with a video of mine.
I played at the recording (it's Mozart piano sonata), it is a LIVE recording at a recital, I took the photos that are in the video, edited it etc. etc. and after complaining to YouTube received a response that Koch Entertainment STILL claim copyright on a Mozart Sonata! Now I filed an official complaint and will sue them if I have to!!!

I put up a video of one of their artists named Slim Thug. It was one of his new singles, i put the vid up a month and a half ago. The vid, since that date had 330k views. As soon as the views shot up, they had YT send me a complaint notice, and a strike against my account.
I'm not making money off the vid, i just wanted to bring some exposure to my favorite artist, and this is how they do us? Fuck these execs, they're not the stars, the artists are! It was all free publicity, lame ass execs.

I had the same thing with one of my videos, I would understand if it was being claimed by the right people! On the CD I used there was no evidence that Kock entertainment had any right over it.

Koch Ent. I think they just want to make some money with these ads because Paris record label is 306 Entertainment TVT Records. I don't mind Paris making money off the video I created, but for Kosh to say they are the owners, that is not right unless they really are the owners. If you make a video with educational purposes you don't violate a copyright. Even, if you use an audio for a video and you don't gain any money on it, you are not violating a copyright. But one thing is truth. You need to put a credit to the music author and/or artist. If you make it, YOU DON'T GO TO HAVE A TROUBLE.

I just got a copyright claim from Koch Entertainment for posting a movie trailer-made by Summit Entertainment- but no copyright claim from Summit. Obviously i wouldn't mind having it taken down if Summit had a problem, but Koch have nothing to do with the video
