I had the priviledge to hear Rabbi Manis Friedman in person. The guy is amazing. Search "It's Good To Know" for free audio on the net.

He's a pseudointellectual who spews senseless junk under the guise of kabbalah.

I too saw some quotes from him re: Assisted Reproduction that angered and hurt me. I wrote to him and 'vented'. After some dialog, and a lot of clarification, it has become very clear that what I thought (and many others still think) of this rabbi was far from accurate. He is wise, sensitive and sincere. In fact, I have come to respect him so deeply, I am ashamed of I spoke of him in the past. God bless Rabbi Friedman and give other AR parents the good fortune to come to know him as I have.

Rabbi Manis Friedman is a truly amazing speaker, I've had the pleasure of attending a few lectures, and he always managed to keep me intrigued, a very challenging thing to do.
