  • The BBC has always very very good Documentaries, too bad that they dont air them in Germany! Therefore i have even more to thank the uploader.

  • I think they could at least put the pictures and recontruction on display with the story. As they mentioned, not alot is known about that part of the history of anatomy. Respecting the body is important but to refer to it as undignified is going a bit far. Many people in now are donating their bodies to science, are they undignified? Knowledge of anatomy has saved more lives than it has taken. Is the unfortunate deaths of a few worth the lives of many?

  • I think its unfortunate that they buried him and referred to his state as undignified. I think he probably contributed science, as dissections today also teach students-they just aren't kept

  • @ellethekitty Really? Even though he might have been murdered or stolen from his grave? The ends don't justify the means in scientific research, that's why there are IRBs.
