try that first, remember the quality you see on youtube is not the ACTUAL quality of the phone...i think its really good and ppl are just splitting hairs
I disagree. I think the camera is the definition of Youtube-quality.
I consider this a must-have feature, and it isn't on the iPhone, which is one of not a few pluses.
If you're trying to record a video of anything other than a spontaneous moment for youtube-viewing or a few other events I can think of, you shouldn't be using a cell-phone camera at all.
It's 15fps, so it's not that great- but it beats the 320x240 of my two-year-old digital camera, and considering what else it can do...
the videorec. quality on the samsung omnia is, believe me: terrible. not usable. I have sent in my omnia, since I though it was a defect, but no, the bad quality was normal! the problems:
1) sound of video is artificial, high voices sound like someone on helium, loud sound produces artefacts
2)video-sound and video-picture are OUT OF SYNC!!! try it: take a video of someone klapping his hands...--> sound and video out of sync!!)
if you like recording videos, this phone is a nono.

First, learn proper grammar skills before you comment because by your comments I understand you're no more than a 12 year-old porch monkey, second of all, shut your shitty lip-blown mouth you fucking disgusting piece of shitty nigger.
Wow, you forgot a lot of commas in that sentence. Also, calling someone a 'piece of shitty nigger' does not make grammatical sense, either. lern2spell
actually, he probably set the video capture resolution to 640x480 which would record at 15fps. If he reduced it to 320x240 it would double to 30fps. So inverse ratio.
seems a shame that it's slow frame rate on the video. The Nokia N series have 30 fps and are much better, maybe not quite so clear as the omnia but more fluid.
where can i buy omnia i900 from? i know its available in singapore and not in the US yet.. is there any way you can give me a dealer or shops contact details in singapore??
omnia's better the xperia is still not completely perfect yet and sony ericsson's touch sensitivity gets rusty very easily. for touch? samsung's still best. but for omnia, there's alot of functions but i dunno wad the optical mouse is for tho since its a touch phone. i prefer samsung's F480 designs best but for overall, omnias good too.
