@swiftdan8 The reason being that Vegas has yet to try and emerge from the recession. The city hasn't tried attracting businesses through incentives to move to Vegas. Until they do so, it's just going to see itself remain the poorest of the major cities. Also, it's a foreclosure property which is why it's so cheap. They just want what is owed on the defaulted mortgage. Most of the houses in that neighborhood are on the market in the millions (some of which are smaller properties).
