I think MJ was referring to one of two tapes from the early 80s, with Tom Sauber, Hal Cannon, and Tom Carter. The Toms were working toward a possible companion tape to the Thede book at the time, but I don't believe it ever made it. One tape is a live show they did on KRCL in Salt Lake, and the other was a kind of test recording of the Thede material. Both contain lots of Thede tunes. Several years back I put together two CDs of the radio show from a dupe of the original tape.ptinker@acm.org
