Those aren't the implants idiot. He is reinserting compression screws that gradually compress the bone laterally to give him a bigger (wider) ridge to accomodate the implants. The implants are what he places at the end.

I'm generally not affected at all by blood & guts (evil grin) & I even did some self-surgery in my younger days on a deep rooted sebaceous cyst in my arm that pissed me off one night. In fact, an old friend of mine almost passed out watching me dig it out of there but I'll be the first to admit that I hit the stop button and bailed out of this video at 2:00! LOL! Btw, my cyst operation went well. Root was attached 2 the bone so I had to cut deep & yank it out with some hemos. It never came back.

Little did I know that the wires that they put on my teeth to hold my jaw from moving would ruin the calcium on my teeth 20 years later. So I found myself without dental insurance and next thing I know my teeth start cracking because the enamel was ruined 20 years ago bottom line is my teeth are completely fucked and the last dentist I went to wanted 10 grand to fix them. It happens!!!!!

I had the same amount of work done. I would defo do all again, Little bit of discomfort afterwards. No big deal. Be a lot better if if was half the price. lol

@wulfdogcat I had 2 Dental Implants. It really didn't hurt much. I did have to eat Yogurt & Baby food for a week or so! Glad I did it though. I probably would have chickened out if I had watched a video of it before I had it done though !!

I'm all excited, after spending $12,000.00 & waiting a while, I get new Crowns tomorrow ;-)
