It seems like your steering input is a little... Well... Exaggerated. Now I can't say anything for sure because I wasn't there driiving the car and feeling it on the track, but if possible try to tidy up some of the wheel movements. Now once again I can't say anything for sure because I wasn't there driving to feel how the car was handling. Smooth is fast. ;)

Reason Honda dont make k20 rwd is too many kids will die cause of their rice cracker mentality. Leave racing for the guys with skills and money. Kids with pocket money spoil it for the rest. and someone did a chevy cobalt engine in there already...but i dont know which one chevy engine (2.0, 2.4)

if the k24 wont fit...just get a stroker kit from Brian Crower, so your k20 will go from 2.0 to 2.4 or what not, i've seen a k24 turned to 2.7L...

This is an S1 Exige (s1 elise converted to Exige)....Do you know the distinction? If not take a look at his other videos and watch him fly by the s2 Elise/exige's/nsx's etc and it will help forward the education. 500lbs lighter etc... Nothing wrong with Hondas this guy had a highly modified s2000 before he upgraded. With slicks these cars (s1 exige/motorsport cars) can pull up to two G's on the track. With powerful motors, the performance of this platform becomes stratospheric.

Who's been watching the F1 to think they understand what sawing on the wheel is?! Sawing at the wheel is when the car is unstable and breaking away constantly having to be corrected. This car has a very short wheelbase making it inherently jittery, look at 3mins in the break to oversteer was instantaneous and almost impossible to predict. The steering on these cars is also extremely direct, not softened by power assistance, he is a brave and quite talented driver.

The K20A is the JDM Honda Integra Type-R motor with 220hp and its N/A, the K20A2 would be the Type-S motor which is rated at 200hp or in the 04' up models 210hp

Naturally aspirated, but the reason why it has so much power is because it's an engine made for high RPMs.

They (Honda) simply added (intelligent) variable valve timing (i-VTEC) to the engine, so the engine also runs smoothly/doesn't stall on low RPMs.

The 2ZZ-GE engine in the newer Lotus Elise/Exige also intelligent variable valve timing and lift (VVTL-i), it's from Toyota so a different system though.

It's been awhile since I looked up on these engines.

Anyway (i-)VTEC ensures the valve diagrams are always optimal on almost any rpm.

And these high-RPM engines deliver alot of power without sacrificing too much reliability due to variable valve timing and variable valve lift.

What also is comparably important to the power band is the weight of the engine. Since the lotus banks on weight distribution coupled with a super light weight body, the engine weight is as important as power. Suprisingly the Honda K20 engine is a comparable weight to the inferior toyota engine. Cost of the engine is also comparable. So YanFU, i guess you are justified in saying Lotus was seriously stupid going with a toyota power plant. hahahaha

well they are ultra low volume so the expenses to do most/all of the r&d and everything else has to be made up with the few cars coming out. Lotus however sells more, has a parent company (proton), and has an engineering group which does work for other company's giving them more resources to reduce cost.
