i think there isnt any hardware out that stops the lag when destroying buildings, i have a geforce 280 gtx, a quadcore cpu and it still lags

No, you get a bunch of units at the start of the mission and need to complete it with them.

Reinforcements are possible if it's part of that mission.

Hmm look like u got the same problem like me if i destroy buildings the game starts to lag really hard. . . =( some1 know why?

Your framerate probably gets too high and since your CPU needs to process all the data (realistic debris, ragg-doll animation and such) it slows down.

The best way to eliminate this problem is to lower the settings or to buy a new PC/hardware.
