a problem i have with marine shoulders is getting the transfers of the legion logo to stick smoothly over the curved surface, there are always little kinks and folds that i cant seem to get stuck down, any tips?

Nice paintjob... but seriously: how long did it take to paint this single Chaos Marine? Must have taken several hours and now imagine to paint a whole army. I use a simple technique and my marines look nice. Of course your models look better, but the result is more than just fair if you regard the elapsed time. I only need 1 hour or something. I just use a dark main color, then a fitting wash to apply shadows. Then I highlight with a brighter version of the color... and it still looks very good.

@GirlPainting Well... this is hard to believe ;D ... normally these techniques would take hours. And I want to mention that you used a wash and it takes over an hour to dry. Ok, you can't count this to your elapsed painting time, but you don't finish a marine in 20 minutes from start to end. You have to use foundation first and it has to dry, then the main color, then the wash which takes even longer to dry and after this the details. I think it took at about 2 hours in overall.

das is ne undankbare farbe zu malen

rot mit schwarz und gold. du wirst blöde dabei

aber wenn man den dreh raus hat gehts recht fix

2 stunden für nen hochwertig bemalten general is da dann normal

genauso siehts wohl auch hier aus. die bemalung ist garnicht so komplex, nur mehrere schichten verdünnte farbe mit tuschen

geht schneller als man denkt

@TheLordZhufor Also gold ist wirklich eine sehr undankbare Farbe... aber wenn du z.B. Scab Red nimmst oder Red Gore, dann dürfte das nicht so schlimm sein. Man kann ja immer noch mit einem helleren Rot akzentuieren. Mit Blood Red sollte man nicht auf schwarz malen ^^ ...

Aber gold ist eigentlich noch gut zu handhaben, wenn man die Stellen vorher mit einer Bronzefarbe bemalt und mit gold trockenbürstet. Ach ja... probiere mal Gryphonne Sepia auf Shining Gold, das hat voll den Verstärkungseffekt.

das gold auf schwarz 50/50 shining gold / scorched brown, shining gold, flesh wash ( ja es gibt leute die sowas noch besitzen XD), mithril silver für die akzente

geht fix und deckt super

selbt bei großen flächen auf panzern usw

man muss es nur halt anständig verdünnen

also alle farben

@hello123325 cuz its wat colour they are???(its kind of like saying im going to paint a specific legion the iron warriors and paint them purple without hazard stripes...if u do that then ur not painting the legions actual colour meaning you have made a new chaos legion) otherwise ur not doing fallan angels... if your going for a chaos dark angel looking army then you could say it was a successor chapter that followed the ways of the fallan angels. also they are black armor with silver trim

Ein Test für deine Chaos Armee? ... Ich erinnere mich das du mal sagtest du magst keine CSM weil sie langweilig sind...  also ich finde das sehr gut wenn du CSM Armee aufbaust, dann sehe ich mehr Vids darüber. Was mir als Chaos Spieler gefällt... alle anderen Vids gingen mir ja zu oft um die Anhänger des falschen Imperators ;) ...
