  • how much more fouling do you get with these solid coppers? Is it hard to clean it from the barrel?

  • @freestylmx311 I noticed no increase in fouling whatsoever, and I'm pretty sure they use the same metal as the jackets on all their other bullets. In fact, using the same load you might for a lead core bullet, I find the barrel to be cleaner with the solids as they operate at higher pressures from more surface area in contact with the bore, and burn all of the powder.

  • Hey OddCarl1,

Look fwd to hearing about Elk Season. I mainly hunt Red and Fallow Deer and use a standard Nosler Ballistic tip in 150g from a 30-06. Does the job with no problems. I'm interested in the Copper Solids but have never tried them. My previous comment was directed to FLB Games.

    Enjoy man

    Bunta

  • @Bunta357 Flew right over my head. I think the BT's are great, I just woudl'nt want to eat anything from the area surrounding were the bullet impacted. BT's perfom exactly as they were designed to, to fragment, a lot.

  • FLB Games why don't you do some field testing and let us know mate

  • @Bunta357 Elk seson starts in just a few days, I will let you know how it performs.

  • Short answer, under 1" FOR ME at 100 yds just resting on sandbags.

  • how was the accuracy on these tips at the 100, 150, 200, 300 yard marks???
