  • We in my town are not going to spend a dime at X-mas time.

  • I want to hug you and adopt you. Love, Misty

  • ¥T

  • great message ..... even in february ...

  • Its not me, it is the corporations. Its not me, it is tradition, Its not me, its my obligations. Its not me its that I deserve my gifts. Its not not me, it is what is good for the economy. Its not me, its that... yeah... ITS YOU.

Think about it and dont pass the buck.

  • Great moral there.

It's ridiculous how commercial it is.

  • Anyone ever tell this guy that his voice has the most condescending tone to it in the whole world?

  • Good observation. He intends it to be that way though. He condescends constantly, despite being completely ignorant.

  • @radch3vik

well, if the fact that so many have been 'fluffed' with bullshit for so long, & eaten it up like lobster for so many years bothers you when it is presented as the absurdity that it is...then maybe more people in this country should stop believing that 'christmas' has ANYTHING to do with 'christ' & 'goodwill' & in asinine things like an invisible, mythillogcal, mass murdering dictator in the sky.

how should you talk to adults that still believe in fairy tales & ancient myth?

  • I'm sorry, but this is nothing more than an internet, one man infomercial about "saving the starving kids in third world countries." Except here, not only is he preaching about a history that is -far- more widely known than he's giving people credit for, but he's delivering the ridiculous concept that "Our children are naive and innocent, so we should donate to make the world as truly as nice and magical as we claim it to be." I've never heard of such a terribly flawed argument in my life.

  • I just hope AGI didn't pay this guy any money to advertise their site. Trying to make people feel guilty about their traditions has proven to be the worse way of having them help out. He might as well of been yelling at the camera at the entire time.

  • Hey, the US Wr int he Philippines!

There was a tradition for you!

  • corr US War in the Philippines

  • are you slamming on imports, cuz i have a cloak from China, is this bad?

  • I have to say he makes a lot of sense... and as human beings we really are greedy gluttonous beings. I mean, w/e holiday it is we consume SO much: food, money, electricity (for decorations), and not to mention an enormous amount of gifts. If we consume less food and not stuffing ourselves we can instead put that $ onto someone else's dinner table. If instead of consuming so much of our limited resources we can help someone else have a roof over their heads that we take for granted EVERYDAY.

  • I hate this broken logic so much.

This is how I see it, and it's going to piss a lot of people off because of how "insensitive" it is. First off, the world is overpopulated. There's no denying that. War, famine, hurricanes, whether they're "problems" developed over decades and centuries, or just blunt stupidity, they help to slightly control the population.

  • People have been "saving" kids in Africa for several years, yet women are still being raped and parents are still dying of aids, causing more and more of these children to be produced. You can scoop out as much water out of your sinking boat as you please, but it's just going to continue sinking until you plug of the damn hole where the water's coming in. Stop the damn violence and STDs if you're really concerned on helping the problem of overpopulation.

  • Secondly, we're NOT lucky to have what we have. Every human race wasn't handed a number for a lottery to determine what sort of resources they would or wouldn't have. We're where we are because of our anchestors. The sperm and egg that created you couldn't of randomly met in any woman's womb, you were created by your parents. There is no damn luck in any of it. Do we splurge? Yes, and we've earned the right to.

  • We've developed societies that for the most part are far more efficient, and then people who are "less fortunate" see it with green eyes and wish for nothing more than to destroy what we've created for ourselves simply because they've crippled themselves. No one is better than anyone else. Yeah, it would really suck if I was a person born in a country where my parents would most likely be dead by the time I'm 12, forcing me to raise my three younger siblings by myself.

  • If you really wany to make a difference then grab some guns, invade their government, and kill their leader so you can force our way of life upon them. You can either force them to change the way they live and shit all over their culture and way of life, or help them continue living the way they are. Either way they're suffering. I sure as hell don't see Africa or Iraq being generally better ever since we started helping them these two different ways.

  • You seem to be missing the entire purpose of what I wrote. You only see it for selfish reasons and therefore only see the strides our race has made but fail to see the downfall that our society has done. Seriously, all the 7 deadly sins are participated in everyday and honored for it. We haven't earned the right to be greedy, you can never earn anything to gain pride. It's called selfless acts of kindness that no one ever does, not even on Xmas.

  • I really don't see the difference between our buddy davis here and our president. Just a couple of degenerate scumbags trying to con a population that, if thrown into a completely natural environment (if there are any left, gotta keep feedin' da' poe!), would be neither strong nor smart enough to survive more than a week. Ditch these illusionists and find the answers for yourselves.

  • pretty much spot on,(bbcnews24 regular updates from the high street). My middleclass Mother however, issues such gifts to the hungry nignogs. I can`t help but feel that this is a patronising and pointless action. Most brothers and sisters would of course expect this kind of social conscience.|It is a drop in the ocean though innit? The 600 million `defence budget` and resources there expended

would be better apllied to the balancing of these inequalities.Respect.

  • You may not even consider doing something like this but that's why this guy made the video. And I'm pretty sure that out of the 22,000+ people who have seen this so far, at least one has gone to the website. Case in point: this dude made a difference, you people can too.

  • And this BS about not being able to make a difference or not doing so because it's not your responsibility is RIDICULOUS! Again, if you have ever volunteered at a soup kitchen or bought gifts for a charity you would realize this is not true!

  • GODDAMMIT PEOPLE! He's not saying that you should feel like crap for getting gifts or that you should never accept any gifts or that thinking about improving yourself is bad or that he is in any way perfect or above capitalism. All he is trying to say is that there are people out there who could use gifts more than you. I guarantee anyone here would realize that if they took 5 minutes out of their life to help someone who is really in need.

  • HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY

  • Please support Ron Paul and donate on New Years Eve to bring Ron over 20 Million for the quarter. Together if we support Ron Paul we can save America.

  • I don't think this is a good guy. Many friends I met on a site called pubspa say they think he should find a job. met these friends in the site because we have the same interest - massage. We usually talk together. Besides, we share blogs, videos, music and games

  • Get A LIFE,,iT'S A GOOD THING WE'VE KEPT IT ALIVE WITH THE COMMERCIALIZATION,,IT REMINDS US OF OUR LORD. ANY EXCUSE NOT TO WORK,RIGHT??

  • Shame on you! MERRY CHRISTMAS

  • This guy is the stuff. The world needs a lot more people like him.

  • I think you should start consuming less coffee and giving more thought to getting a job.

  • Davis, I love you and all, but you really need to find a career and start a family.

  • You know YOU make those ppl feel like shit?

You ppl are the ones who tell those ppl there is a better place.

That's just morally wrong to do so. STOP doing that. Leave those ppl alone and let them live the life they are accustomed to.

  • you are a very scary man.........

  • Christmas is the birth of Christ. For years and years it's been commercialized....but those of us old enough to remember when going to church or spending time with MOM and DAD wasn't a bad thing....MERRY CHRISTMAS. It's up to each ADULT individual to make choices for themselves and their own budget... I won't go into debt for anyone. I still make a nice Christmas with the budget I have. Peace on Earth!

  • Celebration has always meant consumption. Yes, even back in Jesus' time, they celebrated by having feasts - consumption. Don't blame Christmas if you've given into the media telling you to spend past your budget.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  • this guy stares at the camera like a retard and a lot of the things he states as facts are actually not true.

  • like what?

  • fuck you spammer.

  • u r hot bone me

  • blablabla what a gay

  • yeah im not donating shit to your scam "charity"

  • Amanita muscaria is the mushroom ! It can kill you and it can make you very very sick as well as cause hallucinations, (psychosis) I love the alt. gift site. but I still wish for a diamond tiara, a white horse with a red bow and a beautiful king of the mountain climbers bearing crampons and rope clomping up my steps. REpresents what's not happening in my life but what I can do is clean my house and decorate to represent what I want in life, eat cheap crab tails and write.

  • ♥ Yes.

  • christmas consumerism helps the economy a hell of a lot. i'd rather people have jobs and have the economy grow a bit than for everyone to stop shopping. yeah, we're self indulgent, get used to it.

  • Thank you for the reality check. Happy holidays to you, too.

  • xd.............

  • How's it feel to be up on the Cross?

I wonder if I just joined you.

  • Why must I look at your fat fucking face this joyous holiday season?

  • MAJE?

  • Very elequontly put! Many of my friends this year opted for a simple day and did not partake in the glutany of food and presents. I think the tide is turning as we become more aware to the greater community and are pathetically selfish western society has been - not sure why others have criticized your message.

Well done - peaceful christmas everyone

  • I have a question, what makes you think that if he ignored you the first time, he will listen to you the second?

  • that's a nice white t-shirt you're wearing sir. do you bleach your clothes often? or the stylish sunglasses you often wear when facing the cruel outside world. what about the complex and algorithmically-involved iMac (snore) you use to edit your inspirational videos with? we both know that all of the aforementioned products have been brought to you by consumerism and capitalism, like it or not.

  • Dude you are so blinded by capitalism that you can't even see you are part of the problem. Wake up man! This is the life God gave you.. make the best of yours and leave the rest alone. Somebody must have taken your lunch money when you were a kid! Being tolerant and peaceful means finding peace in yourself first.

  • i like the way you speak English , and you look very cute . i am from Beijing , will you come to visit ? :)

  • YOu are just a guy with great strong point of views, man. You earn a congrat from a stranger like me.

  • Oh... you hippies and your newfangled ideas!

  • We only exchanged two gifts this year :)

  • RIGHT ON!!!! SO MANY RUDE IGNORANT PEOPLE MAJE ME SAD!!! Why so hostile. Is it because the truth is scary? True deliverance from evil may seem scary but it is actually very claming. LOVE is the way. GIVE!!! that is love

  • MAJE?

  • Who was the genius who started referring to customers as CONSUMERS anyway?

It's not a very polite word.

Maybe we should start referring to us as "human beings" and start referring to them as "corporations".

Sure there are some human beings that work at corporations, but they're not really in charge. A corporation is sort of like a bus with some people on it racing through the city streets at top speed on an icy day . . .

    with no driver.

  • and you got it all wrong. if you want to advertise a good message, you dont want to bash down other peoples personal things first. that just pisses people off.

you dont have to be controversial to say something that gets attention. you can, but its, to me, the wrong way.

you had a good underlying message. but you depressed me too much on christmas eve.

  • woah woah woah, lets just accept what we have, it definetly isnt gonna change. and hey, i love our stuff we have.

    you make me sad.

so, well, merry christmas, if its about renewal of hope. i hope you have a good christmas.

  • C'mon man, for Chris crocker sake.. what the fuck do you want?

  • you're such a miserable fuck, why haven't you killed yourself yet? seriously, you and the cowards who made zeitgiest should get together for next winter's solstice, and just drink the Kool-aid together. or better yet, move to another country that wants to hear your anti-capitalism bullshit, like the countries your pulling for in this video. if you do, i'll donate to your starving ass next year.

  • honestly, i don't understand why you're getting all worked up. All he's saying is that people should focus less on material consumption during the Holiday season and focus on the actual meaning of their respective holidays. Is their something wrong about that?

  • Don't be so demeaning and reduce yourself to this guy's level. True, he is indeed a miserable soul - but being that nasty doesn't make you out to look any less miserable. Alright? Have a good one.

  • Wow dude you are a liberal turd

  • vao

  • You know, this time of year would be alot merrier if the self hating dip sticks would quit their STUPID LITTLE SELF SERVING SNIVELING!!

    Oh, and Happy Yule

  • one way or another he has a point get a discou nt if u buy today or a bnus on credit cards is simply abusing of the holiday spirit and turning it in a 100% pure profit event this is crap and it is sad because it is true donating to a neady persone or family is a much better cause then to buy ur son or daughter a kinky shirt that'l probly piss him off cause seriously a shirt?! or a freaking gold video game (im sure we all agree that parents trying to secretly buy u a gift never works out)

  • Come see why ALL White men are considered the kings of Earth.

  • Giving will just make it worse. Helping people and countries get a bedder life for them selves, is better.

  • boring !!!!!!!!!

  • You can't save anyone, they have to save themselves. Often giving only enable the needy in their self-destructive behavior. Give to a charity that shows people how to save themselves. Understand that you can't save everyone and not everyone will save themselves given every opportunity.

  • agreed

  • I love it. Don't love all of your posts, but as a pastor, I have been asking people to consider this "alternative Chrismas" for years. Franklin Graham even has a catalog of ways to give to the needy for Christmas instead of buying junk that will end up in yard sales in two years.

    Roger Allen

    Portsmouth, VA

  • boring !!!!!!!!!

  • Come see why all White men should be respected.

  • This guy needs to get laid.

  • I am giviing to Ron Paul!

  • Birth of the new, is received upon the path of the present and given the responsibility of its future . . .

    BL*M

    Good*Tidings - In*Peace - All*Ways . . .

  • Why would or should any from one country send money to the largest ongoing Welfare program ever started? Who helps our impoverished?

Think: Why feed 3rd world nations in a manner that further escalates their plights. Where do Ethiopian AIDS babies originate?

Keep your liberal bleeding heart to yourself.

  • And yet, it is exactly what you say it isn't ... a commercial for alt-gifts-int. Do you have any kids of your own or are you so self absorbed in your 'everyone is wrong but me' attitude that you cannot afford the time for THAT precious gift? Have a holly jolly Christmas ;)

  • Even if it was a commercial (which it wasn't, it was a mere suggestion as he stated) for AG, what's so bad about advertising charitable organizations? Money doesn't just donate itself from non-existant bank accounts. It takes people KNOWING that "service" is availiable for them to give. Do you have kids? Are you upset all your time is occupied by raising them, thus, you have no time to THINK differently like this dude? Give your head a shake.

  • Amen.

  • Excellent video!

    Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion.

  • I'm not Christian, but I do love the spirit of Christmas. It's a mood change, a feeling of giving and love. It's the only time of the year I see this change in people and it's my favorite part. I like to give instead of receive and even get joy from that.

I don't know, Dennis. Sometimes you need to just lighten up. Fight your battles, but try to remember the majority of us aren't evil people wanting to consume the planet and spoil our children.

  • I've been away from youtube for a bit and I really used to love your videos, but I feel like all you do now is preach. There's no human interaction. It's just you telling the rest of the world how terrible it is, you telling us how bad we are, and man, I can become Catholic and go to church every Sunday if I want to be lectured about my sins.

  • i agree, i don't think jesus would appreciate, or even approve of the commercialism used in his name. i recall of the presents i got, and they just didn't bring true happiness since the family get together felt rather artificial, and forced. so i take it, that it is the spirit that matters the most; way more than any materialistic stuff.

  • Dude! Your remarks are spot-on.

However, my leaders have told me to prey to their idols, so I must.

My media resources have conditioned me to jump into the consumption hoop on predetermined holidays.

My peers are swimming in debt, so I am supposed to jump into the deep end with them.

To hell with that, I'm steering clear of the cliff of ignorance and slavery with you, Davis!

Come on, who's gonna come with us!?

  • Too much wasting times buying gifts lets try helping the left fortunate and get our families and kids to understand what christ really preach about

  • ..more like this dennis

  • A George Bush Christmas gives us the 7 deadly sins. Could we have a day with none of these?

Luxuria (extravagance, later lust), Gula (gluttony), Avaritia (greed), Acedia (sloth), Ira (wrath), Invidia (envy), and Superbia (pride). I wonder if just one day, people would think on this? Its really going back to the basics. Blessings from Earth

    +++ The Saint +++

  • The sentiment should not be exclusive to Christmas - commercialism and the entire worship of greed and want not need has to go.

Start giving within your own community, making a different ecologically there and if there is any time or resources left, branch out. The "needy" need to be taught to provide for themselves. Handouts just don't work.

  • Great video Davis! Wish I saw it before I went Xmas shopping (just returned from that sortie from hell). We'll be eating a lot of hot dogs this week.

Buying crap others don't need with money I don't have to fulfill grossly overinflated expectations and obligations?? No wonder I get depressed every Xmas!!

However, I have no prob at all putting presents under the tree for the little ones.

  • I'm with you on spoiling the little ones.

  • Yeah, that makes sense. Rail on about the evils of commercialism while indoctrinating your children with it from birth.

  • taintpainter77: Spoiling = reinforcing the magic for those who are young enuf to believe in flying reindeer.

One does not have to spend the annual income of an entire third-world village to do it. There will never be an Xbox360, HDTV, or iPhone under our tree this year or any other year.

My previous gripe extends strictly to the adults in my life.

  • On another tangent:

Is it necessary that a turkey should die on Thanksgiving?

Is it necessary for any living creature to die "in celebration" of gluttony?

Good idea Dave. But the braindead will continue to be controlled by greed.

    Happy Christmas.

    Thank you.

  • just found you on youtube......am now addicted wow!.....that's all I can say.....wow!

  • "just found you on youtube......am now addicted wow!.....that's all I can say.....wow!"

PT Barnum: "A sucker is born every minute"

  • Bravo.I'm not getting involved this year. Just making a donation to charity.

    I think Jesus would approve.

  • "Bravo.I'm not getting involved this year. Just making a donation to charity.

    I think Jesus would approve"

Bravo!...Join the Christians! There is no more internationally and locally charitable and generous religion in the world. We happen to be, however, "pro-choice" and we would not dare attempt to dictate we steal your money and forcibly redistribute it how we see fit...We are the opposite of "liberals" (the word is a disguise to hide behind).

    Merry CHRISTmas

  • What is your point though.

Sarcasm is not very christian like.

    Jesus would not approve.

    Merry xxxxxmas.

  • The sound is very low on this one, Davis. Could you raise the volume some?

  • this guy is on the Target....Wal*Mart hit list for a reason.....now get off your arse and consume....

  • I think we all need to be less political and more human when we watch this video. Christmas is just a "trumped-up" version of Presidents' Day... wow Sales!!! Who needs to spend money anyway? If you've got it, give it to someone who could really use it to save their life. Be human.

  • "If you've got it, give it to someone who could really use it to save their life. Be human."

Great idea. Only problem is your style of forced benevolence requires corrupt politicians, a lying media, and a bureaucracy vested in enlarging the bureaucracy in charge of redistributing hard working people's money.

  • this is a great message. we should remember the impact of our financial flow, and how it drives corporate companies. We might use our money to help others, instead of padding the companies we pad every day.

  • "We might use our money to help others, instead of padding the companies we pad every day."

Ya, we need to have the government take our money against our will. After all, we all know the government and politicians are never corrupt and corporations are always corrupt....We need to give totalitarian communism one more try, for old times sake.

  • I'm not sure if I catch the meaning of the response. Did you think I am saying we should support totalitarian communism?

I mean that we live in a world where money makes a difference, and the choices we make about where we spend that money can have a tremendous impact on our future.

  • The mistake many liberals & conservatives both make is that corporations and government are a dichotomy. But they're more like wings on the same bird, more alike than different. Don't matter if it's capitalist or commie, the rich and powerful come from the same class, and could be said to hump each other save that it's everyone else getting humped by both.

  • Nice commentary, Davis. I completely agree. Another astute observation from you :-)

  • You know, I think if folks celebrated MY birthday like this, I'd be so grateful, I wouldn't know which hand to smack them in the head with first. "Oh gosh! Heart attacks & landfill? You SHOULDN'T have!" Smack!

Ahhh, what the hell - happy Yule, y'all.

  • Impeachment petition for Cheney/ go to

  • "Representatives Robert Wexler (D-FL), Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), all Members of the House Judiciary Committee, Wexler has launched an ambitious online effort to mobilize support for immediate impeachment hearings for Vice President Dick Cheney"

Stalin did that too...the famous "Moscow trials."...Wexler is a throwback to the Inquisition.

  • Good job, Davis, as usual. A good friend and I will be volunteering at the Homeless Shelter this Christmas. I've made a few 'gifts' for my closest friends, but no obscene consumerism here, since I'm chronically underemployed.

  • Bravo Davis and thank you! A while ago, tired of hearing "Are you ready for Christmas?" or " I am not done shopping yet, are you?" I convinced my fellow workers to send a collective check to a charity rather than spending the $20 that each of us usually spent for a gift to the one whose name we picked at random. Perhaps some of them are still doing this? Don't know,I moved to another city. No money for charities? Do visit a Children hospital, visit the elderly, bring comfort to someone in need.

  • I've also heard that when someone on the sacred shroom peed in the snow, that reindeer would sometimes knock them out and eat the snow (as they smelled the shrooms & it was still potent), so be careful. :-D

Don't know what to think of people being mind controlled robots. Obviously, many are consumerists, but are they made that way? The idea seems strange to me. Maybe a fad.

I'll have to check AGI out more.

  • Excellent Davis! Great message! I'll spread the word and put this video on your page on my website.

Love, Hope, Peace, & Christ Be With You,

    Cal-el

  • Bad humbug!

  • Davis - I love you brother. My parents "made" us trick-or-treat for UNICEF when we were kids. We resented not getting candy (some people gave us money AND candy), but the lesson stuck. We were forced to think beyond ourselves. I am so proud of them for teaching us that. All 3 of my brothers are great caring people now. Little things make huge differences. Seeds become mighty oaks.

  • ... Naaah!

I am the Santa and others are the Santa for me.

To me, as a 20 year old guy and for the rest of my life, christmast and Santa lives forever.

And yes, we have a flying reindeer. My father's turbo opel. I consume as much as others.

    Happy holidays, Davis.

  • Go to a local thrift store, or Salvation Army store, or laundromat, and find someone who looks needy - an elderly woman or mother with kids, and just hand them cash. The look on their faces will be worth 10 times the cash. Search for Secret Santa on YouTube for an incredible story about changing lives. Well over a million dollars (mostly in $100 bills) was given away to strangers by a man because someone gave him $20 when he was flat broke. A true inspiration. Peace.

  • Hmph. I've had bad experiences with people who offered me even so much as something worth $2 and then claimed I "owed" them whatever they wanted to claim, so I can't see myself accepting a hundred from anyone. Still, if done for the joy of giving, I'm cool with that (though wary). Kinda reminds me of the Christian St. Nicholas (or Nick) that some say Santa was partially based on (paid for dowries or some such & other charity).

  • Yeah, I hear ya... some friends and family can be like that, but when it's a gift from a total stranger, there can't possibly be an expectation of repayment. Although, as the recipient of such a gift, I would offer repayment when I were able.

  • Ask a runaway if a stranger's gift can't have ulterior motives, in both the long and short term.

  • Give donations to PETA, Greenpeace, NRDC, and Nature Conservancy. Those are the ones who really make a difference for the planet and us living beings. Please also give donations to the Hillary Clinton campaign, because she will give universal health care to all persons, she will reduce the carbon dioxide emissions drastically, and she will reinstate our civil rights.

  • Merry Pagan Holiday

  • Hey, just wanted to comment and let you know that my whole family decided to give to charities in each other's names this year. It was really fun to see how far money can go in different parts of the world... and know that it'll last long beyond the short life of nearly all material presents. :-) Thanks for sparking the idea.

  • WOW kicesie- that is fantastic!

  • I do miss believing in Santa. How mind blowing is that? To believe in magical things that come to your house to give you gifts and candy? To believe in something magical and fun is what childhood is all about. Good message Davis.

  • The older I've gotten the more I tend to dread Christmas in general just simply b/c of the crazy consumerism and well...just what you said. It's quite annoying when, as a parent, you're made to feel like crap by others b/c you either don't see the need or can't go insane and overboard buying things that in a week will be discarded and thrown aside.

  • the festival at yalta!

    Davis you crack me up--BEAUTIFULLY

the best to you and the youtubers

lets give where its needed, lets turn this mess around

let us begin to CREATE a long lasting PEACE

    ciao

  • Great video Sir! I'm at 3:30 into the play and wondering if you're going to do ax holiday dance.

Would you be so kind as to bring the chemtrail spraying that's spreading all kinds of

...well, you just have to see it to believe it. Try this one out,-warning-may induce vomiting-- watch?v=A_YGAy1j9Gw --or you can search "chemtrails/black lines/ "weather modification or Geoengineering.

    Well you didn't dance!

Iz okay, it was actually a cool video.

    Peace!

  • Great Video! 5*

  • I feel gang-raped by Christmas!

  • peace on earth ~ yes, it really is that simple

  • Davis you are right on...

I hate christmas, it forces us to behave in one day the way we should be behaving everyday.

  • JRock589 - yes that's what he's saying but I think there can be selfish motives for both greed and generosity. In a way, ALL of the festive lights , the giving, the getting, even the worship, are in my mind a way to fight Seasonal Affective Blues. But, except for the kids, I am cutting down on the the spending. PS: I celebrate Festivus too! haha

  • Very good video but no matter what we do I personally feel anything is to little to late.

  • You still support Kucinich over Ron Paul? You should stick your head in the sand and hope that when you pull it out, you still have to pay taxes to the government so thay can support the Lukid party.

  • Beautiful video Davis! -SGrl1

  • Give good will ya say instead of receiving-consuming? Believe in, and practice something more noble than the usual this Christmas? Well, how about doing it all year round. This once a year crap is really getting annoying. So, bah humbug to Christmas! Scrooge you Davis. I say completely boycott all the Walmart Christmas goods and paraphenalia this year and immerse yourselves in the Fleetwood fantastical magic and awe all year round -- starting right now. Merry holidays...

  • Cool. It's nice hearing someone actually get in tune with the season.

  • Instead of sending your gifts overseas, why not help out here at home? We hear a lot of bitching about people who can't afford healthcare. Why not start a fund for them if you care about this country so much?

  • TAINTPAINTER-

AGI supports groups in the US and all over the world. As I also said in my video, many of you have ideas of your own. The sentiment being- give MORE, consume LESS.

If I could give you a gift- it would be something to alleviate the rage you so obviously live with on a daily basis.

  • How is it rage? Its a simple and practical sentiment: we cant think about helping others unless the problems at home are fixed.

  • I have no rage. I just like goofin' on fifth column Marxists LOL

  • Also, about the rage thing, I'm not the one who made a video of myself violently throwing someone whose political beliefs I disagree with in a swimming pool.

Whats next? Maybe a simulated assassination vid?

  • & the Award for the biggest butt hole goes to taintpainter77.

  • Ok now Davis that is a really meaningful and good video. Thanks for the link too - Many of us share the holidays with our families and are blessed by that opportunity. But we always feel the need to share more. Good idea!

  • i dont like sheeple, ur right about christmas though, America's christmas has almost nothing to do with jesus

  • You have made a very good point about the true spirit of the holiday season from its start to the modern day, I for one have moved from the gluttony of christmas to send simple gifts like malaria medication for a few £'s $'s you can help hundreds of children and when I do buy a gift its for one person who is not expecting it. That to me is the best way to mark the season.

  • If people would just observe Advent, their stress levels would plummet and Madison Avenue would be quaking in their boots.

  • Sounds good. If I had money, who knows, maybe I'd donate something.

    ...I still love capitalism.

  • i have been blocked for the holidays?

    ce n'est pas juste!

    salut de montreal

et beaucoup beaucoup de bisous a vous tous!!

    ciao

  • Happy 4th week of December everybody!

  • great video as always. thanks for bringing my attention to that website.

  • These are the days of consumption, no doubt. It is true, we all have way more things than we could ever possibly need. While many people have no homes, adequate food, and clean water. Not to mention the deteriorating environmental state of our planet earth.

    Yes, I do agree!

Consume less, and give more to those in need!

    -PEACE

  • As a Christian who is attempting to give more to those who need it rather that gorging myself with useless, corporate shit, I want to say, thank you, Davis, thank you.

  • Brilliant idea. There's a really good film out called "What Would Jesus Buy?" featuring Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir which shares the sentiment. Another idea is to actually make your own gift rather than buy it. Cheers Davis! Many Thanks.

  • coming from somone who actually believes the word "Liberal Media" is an appropriate term or even half true I don't think he cares about your opinion.

  • spot the fuck on

  • I agree with everything you said, Davis. The holiday season should be about giving to society as much as we can. Unfortunately, in my situation my parents are amazed at my views on the holiday season and were shocked that I didn't want to get anything from them this year. But, I would rather give than take. I think this is your best video you've ever done. :)

  • great video, I agree wholeheartedly. however, if every consumer spent just a dollar less, television would be plastered w/ analysts proclaiming the 'economy' is on the verge of collapse and instructing us to shop shop shop!
