I'm originally from Tampa and just want to say that I enjoyed your video. No idea as to why anyone would be offended. I've rarely been to northern Fla, but when I went in '94, I was delighted by all of the boarded-up houses and motels. It left a lot to the imagination, and I contemplated all of the amazing history that must have unfolded there. Great song, too.

Tallahassee is a beautiful city, and this video is far from a fair representation. Where are our beautiful canopy roads? Where the hell were you when you were filming this?

Miami is just as beautiful, but in a different way. I have homes in both places but prefer the Miami environment. There's crime in both cities; there was a young woman raped on a bicycle trail in Tallahassee yesterday and a gang-related shooting last week.

As in all things, you see what you choose to see.

I am originally from the UK but now live in Tallahassee, Florida. It certainly is a charming place with to many beautiful spots to mention in one comment. I live in the Southwood area, on a golf course and next to a fantastic park.

It amazes me how people could knock Tallahassee, I have lived all over the US and it is much nicer than crime holes like LA, NY and Miami!

Tallahassee is the weakest city in Florida and the country. How you gonna be the youngest city in Florida, an average age of 28 and have nothing for the younger folks? I love Tallahassee, everytime I drive home to and from Las Vegas I take I-10 so I can visit Tallahassee. I lived in T-town for 4 years of my life, and those 4 of the best. Guthrie's on Tennessee is a must stop whenever I'm in town. The video was mainly a statement of how after spring semester ends Tallahassee becomes a sorta ghost town, it isn't until football season starts in the fall does it come back to life.

@Jadguy24 nice.. i think lots of sensitive people are missing the point, that its an art project, and not an evaluation of tallahassee. i live here too, i have for a long time, and i guess its grown on me. but i didnt receive the video in a negative way at all..those are some of favorite kinds of spots to go in tallyhassy..lots of places like that where you can discover artifacts, find isolation, listen to stories told by erosion.. i liked it..

Nice job. I have lived in Tallahassee since 1990 and have come to really love this place. For sure, there are some rundown places like that House of Plywood in Railroad Square that you showed. Every city has them. I get really tickled at the number of young folks who can't wait to get out of Tallahassee, but come back here after getting tired of the big city life.

I graduated from Florida State in 2004. I revisited it on my way out west. It still looks like that in some of the places I shot in. Every town has decrepit parts, badly in need of repair. It greatly depends on where you are in a town as to your impression of it. French town is much the same as it ever was.
