Both are good choices - we would say Aegis for style and Commuter for quality.

Out of all the 2 layer cases, this seems to be the only one that has the opening for the sd and sim slot. thanks for the review

We'll be looking to do one in the future soon. Our other AMS case reviews should give you a good idea of what to expect from it - as they are all designed the same. It will bulk up the RAZR quite a bit of course however.

The RAZR was a very popular phone due to its design. Because of that, a lot of companies jumped onto making accessories for it due to its media presence.

Whether or not the RAZR Max will get the same attention - we're not sure. We're still adding items for the RAZR itself, so the Maxx may eventually get the same items out for it - but it will take a while.

The phone is unfortunately not out yet and according to the CES reports where it was previewed it is going to be larger. We think the DROID RAZR Max will probably have its own line of cases.
