What you are seeing is the wave... it just has a very, very long wavelength. I did film longer... after about 10 minutes the water flowed in the opposite direction.

@dsteffler54 A tsunami do have a very long wavelength, on open sea, but near the coast it shorts dramatically. are yoou referring only the sea level that remained after and then it went backwards the sea?

@aracuscesar there wasn't a tsunami @ los cabos, this is only low tide, because the earthquake in Chile....soin mexico we were expecting some kind of reaction, and this was the only thing happened....low tide :)

CSL was in a tsunami 'shadow', so the effect was quite noticeable, but not terribly strong.

The mouth of the harbor normally has no current to mention... In the video, you can see it flowing like a river... that's the tsunami.

hahaha.. It's called wind and it's causing the water to flow in the direction it's getting pushed. You can hear it. That is not a tsunami.
