Nancy, when this stove of yours croaks, and can't be fixed, they actually have a stove now that has a grill in the center for doing exactly what you are doing with your eggs! my Mother has your stove however neat nic that she is would NEVER do that! and I would, only I think it would be messy, I have Large GAS burners!! LOL
well, that's original!! hahah! I'm too uptight to do that. besides, unfortunately I don't have that kind of stove, I have a rotten element stove. I hate cleaning it too! (gotta lift the darn element and change the foil guard underneath it)
