I want to say that I hate playing as Jeanne, mainly because it requires lots of skill to complete the challenges that require you to use witch time. Personally, I suck at moves that require very strict timing. Later in the game it becomes a problem when you face the Ardors on fire, because they block everything and there's really nothing I can do but take so many hits from them.

Btw , to all Nero haters, I figured out Nero's purpose. He is Vergil's son, cuz Vergil wanted to be like SParda with power. Only one heir is allowed so he wanted Dante's power and for no more Dante. Vergil banged a (probably human, or half demon or something), and had Nero, as the next heir after he dies or stop slaying demons...just like sparda. So Nero is the next heir. I think someone here asked me why Nero was introduced in this vid :o

I don't think that really makes sense... If Nero is Vergil's son, why would his devil trigger look like Nelo Angelo. Nelo may be Vergil, but only after he was defeated and warped by Mundus. This would mean that Nero would've contacted some remnant of Nelo after one. I suspect this to be the time when Nero sustains an injury to his shoulder during an unexpected demonic attack from within a forest near Fortuna (which is when the Red Queen was damaged)... to be continued.

Also Nero says that after that day his arm changed... What day was he talking about? Perhaps the one that the demon attack took place, that was lightly described in the instruction booklet. The echoing voice he heard was simply a clear sign of a possession. Essentially the demon Vergil has possessed Nero's arm. If Nero were a true devil, or son of a son of Sparda, he would have been able to do a full body devil trigger without needing a sword belonging to Vergil.

Also now that I think about it, a devil arm is the soul of the demon it belonged to. That said, it is more correct to say that Nero draws out Vergil's soul from Yamato when he uses it, which explains why his devil trigger looks the way it does. So essentially it is like Sanctus and Arkham, who both drew the power of Sparda from the sword Sparda. I'd read that Rebellion was the embodiment of Dante's power/soul. The same can be said about Yamato and Vergil. Nero can draw Vergil's power out.

There was a devil may cry 4 book released confirming that Nero is Vergil's son. Well it said "Nero is the son of a man named, Vergil." Or something like that, but in that sense, with Nelo behind him, we can tell it's the Dante's bro, Vergil. When Nelo was defeated, we don't know what happened to him. For all we know, he was probably released to die in the demon world but yet he banged a girl and had Nero...somehow, SOMEHOW, Vergil got to the human world again...

lol, your stupid, they have dmc novels, and the dmc4 novel was released. Nero is Vergil's son, period. He is stronger in brute force to Dante, yet not as skilled. Nero is the next heir after Vergil/Dante finishes slaying and he is signifcant. He got the DB through progress of his life AND an attack of battle sped up that process of getting DB because he is going to become fully demon at some point. That's as simple as it gets. A big twist I'D like to see is Nero becomes Dispair Embodied :o

The only novels I've heard of that are part of the series storyline are all manga. They explain the prequels and situations in-between games. Besides the fact that I still don't think the one regarding 4 has even come out yet, none of them ever mention or involve Vergil ever having kids...So I agree with you, it's retarded.

@Emceetem Meh, the game is meant to be replayed to do multiple combos but the developer forgot to put jump cancel, style changes, and whatnot, like in DMC. That's what made DMC replayable even after 100% completion. Then again, the bayonetta developer must've gotten pissed at DMC3 and 4 (he never made it) for being superior to his DMC1, thanks to jump cancel and stuff.

And also, i played with jeanne, she pretty much is like a reskin with Bayo, VERY similar but quite different in her own ways. And Bayo has styles integrated in her combos, but she cant use them independently which is stupid. And she doesn't have deep impact, DB, DT, Yamato, Dimensional slashes, Dreadnaught, Sword spins, Drive, throw, and etc.

@SilentPhenomed im a huge fan of DMC but i have to say that the "easy" combos done in this game are just as easy to do as in DMC. maybe DMC4 is the only exception ONLY BECAUSE with Dante he has lots of styles and weapons to constantly change (which technically shouldn't be included as part of actually performing the combo per se)
