And this dear people, is what you call TRUE talent. God, if I could do even HALF of stunts she did, I'd be set for life. It amazes me how my fellow teenagers are clueless as to what talent is. They think Paris Hilton is a theatrical genius and that Ke$ha's voice actually sounds like that without autotune. Meanwhile back then, there was no autotune, hardly any pre recordings for musical scenes in movies. These stars did it all on their own and PROVED their talent. Betty was a true gift to showbiz

Wasn't it amazing how she would totally immerse herself both vocally and physically into a song? Such adept timing-one could learn a lot about the performance arts by studying her clips(as a matter of fact, Betty taught performance arts later on in her life). Thanks again for your great posts.

It is true, one could learn alot! I know that when my students are lacking energy, I show them a clip of her!! UNBOUNDLESS! Oh to be one of her students! I'd sign up...So glad you are enjoying the old clips.

As a musician(keyboards) I would give my teeth to form a band and find a singer like her! What she does vocally, amazing-what she does with her hands, feet, face amazing-how she puts it all together in one gulp.... AMAZING!
