@DantoraMandova I think they made a point of saying that combined with that, the lack of typical Earth gravity also was a factor. The artificial gravity wasn't as perfect as Earth's innate gravity and it caused a type of muscle dystrophy.

@neronus12 Not one to sound nerdy but the effect of low gravity on bones and muscles is rather negative and muscles will weaken over time and bones grow stubbier, hence why astronauts have to exercise so much since the people on the ship have been there for so long its no surprise the cant support themselves.
