vitamin B12 can not be synthesized by animals it is created by bacteria. The vitamin b12 is on raw fruits and vegetables that have not been washed. so do not always wash them!
It is a scientific fact that human beings are omnivores. We should be eating a diet that is natural for us. A vegetarian diet is not natural for human beings.
This video is so enlightening for someone like me- who wants to be a vegan, but has had reservations. I was wowed at the end. Such good news. Congratulations, Harley, on finding the ideal diet. I love your videos. They're so inspiring.
WARNING 801010 is just a new niche fad diet market, which people like Dr Doug Graham and Harley Johnstone are taking advantage of. It is very deficient in key nutrients. Particularly the fat soluble vitamins A, E, D, K (K2), B12 and minerals Zinc, Sulfur and more. It is also very deficient in dietary fats and protein. This is DANGEROUS, especially for children. We all want answers, but this is not it and there's an increasing number of people who have learnt the hard way on 801010.
I recently became Raw Vegan and no other foods suits me anymore. People scared me to death about how bad it is to be Raw Vegan. Today I am so thankful to you for making this video which cleared my doubts and made me fearless. Thank you so much, I really really appreciate it!
The year old tests he uses are for the iron and vitamin A... Those are the same two things that the frutarian that Brian Clements did the blood work on was low in
"anyone notice he uses a year-old test for part of this @ 6:37 ? all the others say he's 32, but that one says he's 31. also, according to his birth date, he should be 33, but his channel says he's 30. i actually happen to think this is a healthy & workable diet, @ least for a couple of decades, but all this number-fudging doesn't inspire confidence in these tests in me."
Thanks for pointing this out! Could be on purpose to fool us, or could be a typo
Hi Harley, I know you get B12 questions all the time, sorry :) but, you take B12 injections, is that correct? I also know how most meat-eaters are B12 deficient too, like you say in other videos. So..... we are not supposed to be B12 deficient, and veganism still requires injections which doesn't add up to me, so how would we get B12? I think quality wild animal products is the answer. Im 90% 80 10 10 (eat some animal prod.) and not deficient in anything by the way and take no supplimentation.
@rui27marne Salmon (sashimi or low-temp steamed), raw organic butter, raw organic cheese, cod liver oil. I was originally 80 10 10, but noticed drying skin/hair and immune system dropping (despite eating variety and lots of greens) so that's why I added these items. Also because I read the work of Western Price and the importance of these fat soluble vitamins only found in animal fats.
@waynebw I administer b12 injections to some of my meat eater friends. One is a raw meat eater for the last decade yet in March this year he was still too b12 deficient for his likes and asked me to give him injections. His levels are jacked right up now.
If eating animal products gave sufficient b12 then how come the majority of people with b12 deficiency eat a diet rich in animal products? lol! Do some homework. :)
If your not doing b12 shots, you just aint learnt enough about em yet.
@durianriders Thanks, but my homework is myself.. I eat meat and I am not B12 deficient and I do not take injections! So what am I doing that everyone else isnt?
@durianriders I' m vegan, 90 % raw on 80/10/10 and I'm a lworried about b12 because: is not bad for you tu have an anormal high level of b12?
Some people say that to have b12 in blood doesn't means to have b12, just means that you're dopped with b12 suplementation.
If I do a test homocysteine levels twice a year and if is in a correct range, I can not take my b12 suplement. Do you think is a sure option?, by the way, I'm not an atlete like you.
@BluefruitNMusicSnow i know, hence me saying id be interested to see how efficent his conversion is. I have read that men have trouble converting enough ALA, yes I know about algae derived dha supplements too but as far as i know harley doesnt take them so i think a test of EFAs would still be interesting.
I am glad your blood is normal, but please don't just suggest to everyone it's not a concern. how would you answer Dr. Rick Dinas claims about b12 deficient long term fruitarians with neurological disorders and or even dying like TC Fry the mentor of Doug Graham?
@mikecazzx The 'fruitarians' that Rick is talking about are the ones that try and live on 3 bananas a day, dont drink water and use meth on occasion. Nice people all the same though.
TC Fry drank and smoked from what I heard. He was neither a vegan nor raw. A trail blazer indeed though. He added an extra few decades to his health by 'eating better'. It would have been a LOT harder back in the day than today.
I've been raw for 20 days now, do you consciously make sure you eat raw vegan sources of b12? What sources are there? Or do you let your body take care of your b12 needs?
Hi Harley, thanks for posting this! I was wondering whether you got your DHA levels tested too (omega 3s, ALA from plants, etc.). I know our bodies our supposed to produce enough EPA, but there's some concern among vegans about producing enough DHA. Just want to check in about it, thanks!
The truth cannot be covered. The sheeple who believe the protein myth must also wonder why their hair falls out yet a raw veganist' hair doesn't fall out or thin out. Strange isn't it? Yet they will refuse to give up their beliefs. They are slaves to their own beliefs.
@ponchred Vegan is one thing, but you must eat raw to completely avoid thinning hair. Proper diet must be maintained or the hair falls out. The first thing that the body will shut down in order to preserve itself during a state of malnutrition is hair and nails. My hair and nails still grow like crazy. No signs of thinning.
What do you think happens to a plant when it lacks proper nutrients? Yes! The leaves fall so the plant can reserve it's energy for a little while.
@ponchred Well his body is imbalanced and he's eating the wrong foods then. Don't forget that most 'raw' produce imported in the US is subjected to radiation... It's not so 'raw' after that...
@ponchred Well here's the thing. We all have to do our best to eat properly. The demons of this world are working very hard to pollute and adulterate everything we eat, and so it won't be long now before something big happens. Some foods are more poisoned than others, and even some foods help cleanse the body of toxins. Interestingly, certain amino acids are excellent chelators that remove toxins like lead or mercury. Spirulina contains these amino acids.
@ponchred So just because everything is being affected, don't take that as a sign that you can just eat junk. Be wise and don't give up. There are powerful forces in this world that are on our side and watching and protecting us. When you make a conscious decision to give up, the enemy wins. It's almost like passing through the fire like an ancient rite of passage. The burning fire sure can be hot, but the end result is certainly worth it.
@WilliamTapley You think you're having an intelligent conversation when suddenly it becomes apparent that the person you're taking to is barking mad. There is nothing 'good' watching us, let alone 'protecting' us. Go dance around your bonfire in front of someone else, I don't believe in fantasy.
@ponchred Fantasy? You're about to witness the wonder. It's coming very soon. I don't dance around bonfires. If anger and hatred are what fuel you to keep on your miserable life, then so be it. I however prefer to have something to live for, and beyond this existence. Do you really enjoy the life you're living right now? It's about to get really bad, and it might turn you toward the light. The more you fight it the worse it will get.
@WilliamTapley Yes, that's right. My life is miserable just because you say it is. I live a life of joy, completely free from religion and made up fantasies, and I now sincerely believe that you have no idea what you're talking about. I hope you get the help you require one day, and stop being such a negative person. Snapping at people gets you nowhere.
@ponchred Your life is definitely miserable. You just don't know it yet. I'm not negative nor am I snapping at anyone. The time for messing around is over. You and those like you are chattel being fattened up for the slaughter. I don't say that with hatred or anger, but you must be told it. For on the day of judgement you will have nothing to hide your shame. So why not learn the way of life now and avoid the real suffering? Do unto others (including animals) as you would like to be done to you.
@WilliamTapley No William, once again. My life is filled with music, money and joy and I couldn't be more genuinely happy. It's not miserable just because you say it is, or because I live a different lifestyle to you, and there are no raptures apon us. There will be no 'judgement'. It's the most ridiculous concept and greatest lie ever told, and I'm sorry that you fell for it. I sincerely am. Get some professional help for your fanaticism. Your negativity will be your undoing.
anyone notice he uses a year-old test for part of this @ 6:37 ? all the others say he's 32, but that one says he's 31. also, according to his birth date, he should be 33, but his channel says he's 30. i actually happen to think this is a healthy & workable diet, @ least for a couple of decades, but all this number-fudging doesn't inspire confidence in these tests in me.
why is your B12 so high? Is this after or before you supplemented with B12? Could this be from having very good intestinal flora? I really can't be stuffed supplementing on low fat raw food, so just wanted to know.
@flyoverjoe Every piece of fruit tastes different. Is there ever a day when you get tired of eating double cheeseburgers but force yourself to eat them for lethargy and sickness? When's the last time your McDouble tasted different?
@flyoverjoe I see that we are both smart-asses... touche. I meant that fruits of the same tree have varying flavor; this is changing, though, due to food safety.
@WilliamTapley hey, ive been doing 80/10/10 with about 80% raw with a lot of success since that comment. I personally believe B12 is an intestinal flora/absorption thing so I wanted to know if people share the opinion. Oh and I STILL cant be stuffed supplementing with B12, lol, so ill be checking my lvls in the following years to see if im correct.
@jezzieBell05 Yea you don't need B12 supplements. The appendix which the medical community says is useless is actually a home for good intestinal flora. It is a symbiotic relationship that we hold with them. As long as we eat good food, they flourish and nourish us with their B12 excretions etc. If we eat bad food, then they die off and subsequently our health deteriorates much faster.
To become a raw vegan one must completely forget what the medical community says.
@jezzieBell05 When a raw veganist hears protein, the first thing that should come to mind is amino acid. They are the building blocks of protein and a much better source for the building blocks of our bodies. They can be obtained by eating enzyme rich foods (cooking foods kills the enzymes). Spirulina is also a great supplement for health. Green chlorophyll is excellent for detoxifying our bodies. The detox effect of diarrhea will go away once the bad has been flushed out.
I have found that simply eating less when you eat, and drinking ONLY water is a good creed to live by. It is common sense that if your body isn't consuming as much energy digesting a huge steak that sits in your gut for days, you are going to have more energy freed up for other things. Being to fanatical about one or the other is unhealthy in my opinion.
Durianrider, I eat junk food and my stats are way better. Better hemoglobin, better cholestorel etc. Either you have bad genetics or your diet stinks. But its all in your head bro.
@Inflamsx get yourself checked for tumor markers/heart disease, cos if your eating that sort of diet, you have a 50% chance of getting cancer and the other 50% will be heart disease. :(
@Inflamsx blood stats aren't the only thing you should be looking at. You can just take a vitamin and mineral suplement, get your blood tested and get great results. Even when most of those kind of vitamins and minerals aren't in a usable state for the body and will just be urinated.
either way, for some things it's better to have them in your blood then to have them stored in your cells. don't forget that blood is also the highway to your kidneys for disposal of trash.
I saw that your blood glucose levels looked fine, but I'm just wondering how blood sugar levels react when you consume something like a whole watermelon or 30 bananas. Does this cause blood sugar to spike or is it kept somewhat level because of the fiber contained in the fruit?
Also, do most fruits and vegetables alkalize once in the body, as I've heard citrus even will alkalize once ingested.?
Wow men really fuckin amazing.. damn really impressive !! everyone in this world say.. you dont get enough protein from veggies and fruits.. and NOW THEY SHOULD SEE THIS VIDEO.. and SHUT THE FUCK UP :/
have been a low fat raw vegan for 2 month eating only fresh fruit and celery a couple of times and i had durian which was came by air and tasted great and was fresh but eversince eating it i get durian smelling flatulence and stomach ache days after eating it. i eat mono meals and drink lots of water. this is frustrating. what shall i do?
OMG 70 bananas a day!! I can eat max 10 a day:) Good for you that you can eat 70 a day!!! I have a bunch of ther different fruits like pears apples, raspberries:)
I just watched Dr. Clements video for all high fruit people, where he said high-carb-raw vegan should come to the institute for a blood test to prove their deficiencies. I'm very delighted to find this video! As much as I believe Dr. Clement about his diet being able to help people heal, I always fail to enjoy sprouts... I need the calories to keep my weight on, I just love my fruits....
This is true that meat eaters can be deficient in b12 and or Iron... But the thing is, there not deficient in b12, iron because they eat red meat. The problem is that to be able to absorb Iron / b12 the digestion must be quite good and most people have very poor digestion which is caused by high processed foods. Red meat is not the culprit.
@bsf3 I was out training with Valverde and his team the day before in over 30celcius. I think we did like 210km total for the day. I dont eat added sodium. My sodium levels flucuate. Im racing Div 1, what sports are you excelling in? :)
142-145 is not a sodium standard used in Australia. Given the fact that the daily intake of sodium in Australia is 6300mg, it probably could be though.
Where is the youtube vid of your blood work? Would be interesting...
@bsf3 my b12 and iron levels are a bit high I know, but Im an elite athlete and typically we have higher levels in some things and lower levels in others.
Ask your doctor if iron and b12 deficiencies occur in meat eaters. They do. I will give you 500$ via paypal if you can find me a medical doctor that says other wise. Or even easier, find me a medical journal online that says meat eaters are immune from b12 and iron deficiencies...$500 in your paypal acount champ. Get to work! :)
Your over consumption of bananas would probably not manifest as hyperkalemia or result in an elevated potassium blood serum because normal, healthy kidneys will adjust excretion of this element to match changes in intake.
Blood serum calcium can appear within normal ranges even among people who are calcium deficient because the body will leech calcium from bones and teeth if dietary intake is insufficient. You also need to have your parathyroid hormone (PTH) tested to know your calcium deal.
Type in "how to eat raw beef" and you will see goodsamaratin clearly being slim and not overweight. I'm still waiting for your side of the story/proof. And no we are not all the same people.
Edwin is his name. Edwin is a nice guy with good intentions but clearly he is forcing his ideals on his kids with his latest vids. His eldest son shows off to the camera that his mouth is empty, just like Dad ordered. And how come they cook the meat if raw is better? You can see his raw paleo wife has an extended belly. Neither of them are heavily overweight but for south east asians they are surely overweight. and 100% out of shape.
nice people all the same, this is merely an observation.
The wife seems to have a distended lower belly, not a flat belly. Many indigenous people eat raw meat, but suffer a lot from parasites. That is something the paleos seem to conveniently ignor....stick head in sand and pretend it won't happen to them, right. Carnivorous animals have strong enough stomach acids to kill the parasites and short intestines to get rid of the waste before it putrifies. They don't seem to address these facts....
So you want me to debunk you by showing a vid of goodsamaratin eating raw beef and not looking overweight,is that correct? It's been over 24hrs and you still can't find the the proof to show he's overweight and eating cooked foods?
and its funny, all you dudes spamming my page sound like its just the same 1 person. why? cos they NEVER have any vids up on themselves, they have no viewers, no subscribers etc. Its like one person has created a few accounts and it looks like there is more than one but there actually aint eh? :)
Im Glad you did and showed these tests, as one of the other quite famous raw fooders was challenging anyone on the high fruit diet with a blood test. Ide love to see these 2 blood tests next to each other, a high fruit and a no fruit.. Just to put the argument to rest..and to give us all another awakening about these 2 ways of eating...this argument has been around for a long time...very interesting this...:)
Well I think you could guess with only a few tries...I saw it on one of Brian Clements videos here. I respect him as well, I just wish this could be put to rest as its confusing for a lot of people on which way to eat. :) thanks :) I will find the video later for you...
Harley I don't want you to get away yet with another lie so plz send the video where he eats cooked food and seems overweight,I will gladly apologize if I'm wrong. Don't you realize that your only hurting your own self image by attacking others and claiming that you have all the answers regarding diet?
goodsamaratin doesnt eat cooked food nor is he overweight, and i can prove this to you by showing you a picture of him. So were did you get the thought of him overweight? go on rawpaleo website and click before and after photos and you will see.
im yet to meet a person that doesnt supplement b12 that has a satisfactory b12 serum level.
b12 is added to animal feed, milk, red bull, pet food, cereals, soymilk, power bars, health bars, etc.
ALL olympic and world class athletes ive trained with do b12 injections.
unless one lives in a totally pure world free of chems, pollution, stress, gastric issues etc, then supp'n b12 intramuscularly or via sublinguals is a great idea to increase athletic performance, immune health, mental function.
Wow your blood test results are very impressive! What food sources do you eat to get 32mg of Iron, 1000mg of calcium and 2.4 mcg of B12 daily?? I am worried about getting enough of those in my raw vegan diet, so for now I am taking the supplement called Vega.
I get my daily iron intake from a solid meal of bananas. organic fruits and veg have more vitamins and minerals acording to the labcoats.
my body produces b12 as does everyones, however i have some gastric issues from my past that prevents adequate absorption so i just supplement via intramuscular injections. sublinguals is an option too.
1000mg of calcium? yeah one would need that if they are eating such an acid diet of animal products etc.
Thanks for your response, I appreciate it. I am new to this so I'm just learning. I got those numbers from RDA and DRI charts and they recommend more iron for vegans. No I don't take any drugs, I'm just concerned I don't get enough iron since I get around 9mg only. So 500mg of Calcium is ok per day? That makes sense that vegans dont need as much since we dont have an acidic diet. Do you recommend taking power supplements such as Vega?
Invima, ive tested my ph via urine and saliva extensively, its ALWAYS alkaline.
With me low urea is healthy. I follow a low protein diet that is the highest in vitamins and minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients, plant sterols etc. We can improve on this. I eat sufficient calories on a daily basis. This rules out malnutrition.
I did 811rv for close to a year and had some issues (lots actually). Right now I'm eating a very simple vegan diet and haven't felt better. I'll be returning to more fruit in the summer, but until then I'm fine as it is.
Keep the vids coming, but don't let your ego get the best of you ;)
goodsamaraitn on rawpaleo froum as well as other past fruitarians/raw vegans are real people. He has a very open mind/is pragmatic and he would gladly tell you his story to prove to you that fruitarianism is not always good for all people.
ALL the fruitarians i know eat some corn, veg, greens, nuts, coconuts, cane juice etc on occasion. When people just try and the the 'purity i only eat fruit thing' they always go a bit loopy and then hit a wall and blame veganism. but all they did is just starve emselves of calories by following some ideal. sure fruit is amazing but we cant just live on fruit cos if we could, we would see it done.
goodsamaritin is a nice guy im sure but the poor dude is overweight and out of shape! phillipino's have really good genetics and goodsamaritan sure aint nuturing his by the looks of it! :)
if we are comparing raw diets, why include people that eat cooked foods?
Harley - I enjoyed these videos and I think what you had to say was powerful and important. I do want to ask - you've explained that you're supplementing B12 (when needed), correct? Because B12 deficiency has nothing to do with veganism and more with lifestyle and modern living. Do you think it would be important to note B12 levels on this test are due to supplementing or not? I think it might be responsible to tell, so vegans don't get the idea that your levels are this high naturally.
Excellent point Jen and thats why I did 'raw vegan blood tests part 2'. check it out and I explain my reasoning behind deciding to supplment after all these years not supplementing.
you cant even have good b12 levels without supplementing! if it was such a natural diet you'd be able to get enough without supplementing. your justa scammer with this bloodtest!
oh? just a vague avitar on some internet forum your basing your raw vegan conclusions on patrysky? mmm, why did i know you couldnt give us a real deal, live, face to watch and talk with?
Internet world is full of crew that talk whatever about whatever and most dont even have a face to share for some reason.. :)
I aint skeptical that raw vegan can be healthy for lots of people, in the short term though.I accept reality, i accept that there are plenty of people who do well and feel well and are healthy on raw vegan and i too accept that there are those who do well with animal foods, maybe your the one who keeps being a skeptic and cant realise that some do better on a omnivore diet.
sure there is a handful of anorexics that to the fruit thing so they can stay skinny and then they hit a wall and blame fruit eating to hid their anorexia, bulimia, eating disorders, disordered eating etc.
not everyone wants to eat raw vegan, fine. enjoy some low fat, wholefood cooked vegan fare like baked potatoes with steamed veg n rice. too easy!
What about those past fruitarians who never added cooked carbs, but continued their raw journey by adding raw animal foods? Yet they still feel better and stronger etc. Meat aint murder if it's needed for survival. I think you think that your raw vegan diet is optimal for all people, but history shows thats not the case and also ex-vegans show thats not the case. Just get over it harley, open your mind, because you got it closed right now due to your vegan nutritional dogma.
who are these fruitarians you talk about patrysky? any names or just 'imaginary fruitarians'. not even aajonus himself was a vegan! he wasnt even all raw when he almost killed himself in the desert on a starvation diet of nuts, goats milk and avocados.
Can you give me a link or some references to where you read that the Weston A Price Foundation is funded by "one" Washington based agricultural group?
It seems everyone who opposes you, and exercises your belief system gets the same childish response that they are "spammin" and "yappin".
Why don't you "step up" and admit that after 4 years on a raw vegan diet that you ran into a serious deficiency?
Show me one culture that thrives exclusively on a vegan diet?
Judge the health of food not with the mind but with the effects it produces on the body. Your mind is fixated that animal foods can never be healthy i think. Do whatever you want, but to say to another person who has done fruitarian for long term or vegan and feels healthier/better when including some animal foods in their diet that what they are doing is unhealthy then that sounds illogical to me.
here is the thing patryksy, when 'fruitarians' add back animal products they ALWAYS eventually add back cooked carbs like rice, potatoes etc and hence are getting more carbs and they start to feel better and then think it was the 'flesh'...
i used to eat raw animal and i got real ill. all my raw animal buddies are always sick and fatigued. how come you got no vids up of you eating and training hard? easy to be a skeptic eh mate? :) a skeptic with no face! ha ha!
Harley are you still reluctant to accept that some people need animal foods in order to be optimally healthy? Is it still your belief that the raw vegan is optimal for most people?Have you tried some raw animal foods such as eggs, fish or milk to say that it damages ones health?Who exactly are you to say that animal foods are unhealthy to eat?You have to open your mind a little and start accepting that all raw foods can be potentially healthy.
look at the world today bro, look how much death, pain and destruction we have. is the solution to eat the murder raw? or to stop the murder full stop?
follow your heart and eat some carbs bro and do some fitness. youll feel a lot better and so will your animal friends and the environment.
haha Harley I think all the ego's came out to play on this one! Hi5 man, I think you said it all with this one, good on ya. Lookin well with the long hair bro : )
did he say he ate up to 70 or 17 bananas a day?

@BluefruitNMusicSnow i know, hence me saying id be interested to see how efficent his conversion is. I have read that men have trouble converting enough ALA, yes I know about algae derived dha supplements too but as far as i know harley doesnt take them so i think a test of EFAs would still be interesting.

I am glad your blood is normal, but please don't just suggest to everyone it's not a concern. how would you answer Dr. Rick Dinas claims about b12 deficient long term fruitarians with neurological disorders and or even dying like TC Fry the mentor of Doug Graham?
mikecazzx 11 months ago
@mikecazzx The 'fruitarians' that Rick is talking about are the ones that try and live on 3 bananas a day, dont drink water and use meth on occasion. Nice people all the same though.
TC Fry drank and smoked from what I heard. He was neither a vegan nor raw. A trail blazer indeed though. He added an extra few decades to his health by 'eating better'. It would have been a LOT harder back in the day than today.
durianriders 9 months ago 2
I've been raw for 20 days now, do you consciously make sure you eat raw vegan sources of b12? What sources are there? Or do you let your body take care of your b12 needs?

Hi Harley, thanks for posting this! I was wondering whether you got your DHA levels tested too (omega 3s, ALA from plants, etc.). I know our bodies our supposed to produce enough EPA, but there's some concern among vegans about producing enough DHA. Just want to check in about it, thanks!
arthurwoo 1 year ago
The truth cannot be covered. The sheeple who believe the protein myth must also wonder why their hair falls out yet a raw veganist' hair doesn't fall out or thin out. Strange isn't it? Yet they will refuse to give up their beliefs. They are slaves to their own beliefs.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@WilliamTapley Actually there are plenty of Vegans on Youtube with thinning hair. So this doesn't make sense.
ponchred 1 year ago
@ponchred Vegan is one thing, but you must eat raw to completely avoid thinning hair. Proper diet must be maintained or the hair falls out. The first thing that the body will shut down in order to preserve itself during a state of malnutrition is hair and nails. My hair and nails still grow like crazy. No signs of thinning.
What do you think happens to a plant when it lacks proper nutrients? Yes! The leaves fall so the plant can reserve it's energy for a little while.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@WilliamTapley There's a guy who does 'the raw vegan health show' I think he calls it. His hair is as thinning as they come.
ponchred 1 year ago
@ponchred Well his body is imbalanced and he's eating the wrong foods then. Don't forget that most 'raw' produce imported in the US is subjected to radiation... It's not so 'raw' after that...
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@WilliamTapley So one can eat raw, yet still be poisoned by the same non vegan toxins? Food for thought, I suppose.
ponchred 1 year ago
@ponchred Well here's the thing. We all have to do our best to eat properly. The demons of this world are working very hard to pollute and adulterate everything we eat, and so it won't be long now before something big happens. Some foods are more poisoned than others, and even some foods help cleanse the body of toxins. Interestingly, certain amino acids are excellent chelators that remove toxins like lead or mercury. Spirulina contains these amino acids.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@ponchred So just because everything is being affected, don't take that as a sign that you can just eat junk. Be wise and don't give up. There are powerful forces in this world that are on our side and watching and protecting us. When you make a conscious decision to give up, the enemy wins. It's almost like passing through the fire like an ancient rite of passage. The burning fire sure can be hot, but the end result is certainly worth it.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@WilliamTapley You think you're having an intelligent conversation when suddenly it becomes apparent that the person you're taking to is barking mad. There is nothing 'good' watching us, let alone 'protecting' us. Go dance around your bonfire in front of someone else, I don't believe in fantasy.
ponchred 1 year ago
@ponchred Fantasy? You're about to witness the wonder. It's coming very soon. I don't dance around bonfires. If anger and hatred are what fuel you to keep on your miserable life, then so be it. I however prefer to have something to live for, and beyond this existence. Do you really enjoy the life you're living right now? It's about to get really bad, and it might turn you toward the light. The more you fight it the worse it will get.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@WilliamTapley Yes, that's right. My life is miserable just because you say it is. I live a life of joy, completely free from religion and made up fantasies, and I now sincerely believe that you have no idea what you're talking about. I hope you get the help you require one day, and stop being such a negative person. Snapping at people gets you nowhere.
ponchred 1 year ago
@ponchred Your life is definitely miserable. You just don't know it yet. I'm not negative nor am I snapping at anyone. The time for messing around is over. You and those like you are chattel being fattened up for the slaughter. I don't say that with hatred or anger, but you must be told it. For on the day of judgement you will have nothing to hide your shame. So why not learn the way of life now and avoid the real suffering? Do unto others (including animals) as you would like to be done to you.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@WilliamTapley No William, once again. My life is filled with music, money and joy and I couldn't be more genuinely happy. It's not miserable just because you say it is, or because I live a different lifestyle to you, and there are no raptures apon us. There will be no 'judgement'. It's the most ridiculous concept and greatest lie ever told, and I'm sorry that you fell for it. I sincerely am. Get some professional help for your fanaticism. Your negativity will be your undoing.

@jezzieBell05 You shouldn't be 'stuffed' in the first place. That's called gluttony and there is a heavy price to pay.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@WilliamTapley hey, ive been doing 80/10/10 with about 80% raw with a lot of success since that comment. I personally believe B12 is an intestinal flora/absorption thing so I wanted to know if people share the opinion. Oh and I STILL cant be stuffed supplementing with B12, lol, so ill be checking my lvls in the following years to see if im correct.
jezzieBell05 1 year ago
@jezzieBell05 Yea you don't need B12 supplements. The appendix which the medical community says is useless is actually a home for good intestinal flora. It is a symbiotic relationship that we hold with them. As long as we eat good food, they flourish and nourish us with their B12 excretions etc. If we eat bad food, then they die off and subsequently our health deteriorates much faster.
To become a raw vegan one must completely forget what the medical community says.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago
@jezzieBell05 When a raw veganist hears protein, the first thing that should come to mind is amino acid. They are the building blocks of protein and a much better source for the building blocks of our bodies. They can be obtained by eating enzyme rich foods (cooking foods kills the enzymes). Spirulina is also a great supplement for health. Green chlorophyll is excellent for detoxifying our bodies. The detox effect of diarrhea will go away once the bad has been flushed out.
WilliamTapley 1 year ago

I have found that simply eating less when you eat, and drinking ONLY water is a good creed to live by. It is common sense that if your body isn't consuming as much energy digesting a huge steak that sits in your gut for days, you are going to have more energy freed up for other things. Being to fanatical about one or the other is unhealthy in my opinion.
twjames18 1 year ago

This is true that meat eaters can be deficient in b12 and or Iron... But the thing is, there not deficient in b12, iron because they eat red meat. The problem is that to be able to absorb Iron / b12 the digestion must be quite good and most people have very poor digestion which is caused by high processed foods. Red meat is not the culprit.

your sodium is really low.... that's not healthy at those levels. 142-145 is optimal
bsf3 1 year ago
@bsf3 I was out training with Valverde and his team the day before in over 30celcius. I think we did like 210km total for the day. I dont eat added sodium. My sodium levels flucuate. Im racing Div 1, what sports are you excelling in? :)
142-145 is not a sodium standard used in Australia. Given the fact that the daily intake of sodium in Australia is 6300mg, it probably could be though.
Where is the youtube vid of your blood work? Would be interesting...
durianriders 1 year ago

@bsf3 my b12 and iron levels are a bit high I know, but Im an elite athlete and typically we have higher levels in some things and lower levels in others.
Ask your doctor if iron and b12 deficiencies occur in meat eaters. They do. I will give you 500$ via paypal if you can find me a medical doctor that says other wise. Or even easier, find me a medical journal online that says meat eaters are immune from b12 and iron deficiencies...$500 in your paypal acount champ. Get to work! :)
durianriders 1 year ago
Your over consumption of bananas would probably not manifest as hyperkalemia or result in an elevated potassium blood serum because normal, healthy kidneys will adjust excretion of this element to match changes in intake.
Blood serum calcium can appear within normal ranges even among people who are calcium deficient because the body will leech calcium from bones and teeth if dietary intake is insufficient. You also need to have your parathyroid hormone (PTH) tested to know your calcium deal.

Neither of them are heavily overweight but for south east asians they are surely overweight. and 100% out of shape.
nice people all the same, this is merely an observation.
durianriders 1 year ago
The wife seems to have a distended lower belly, not a flat belly. Many indigenous people eat raw meat, but suffer a lot from parasites. That is something the paleos seem to conveniently ignor....stick head in sand and pretend it won't happen to them, right. Carnivorous animals have strong enough stomach acids to kill the parasites and short intestines to get rid of the waste before it putrifies. They don't seem to address these facts....

I am worried about getting enough of those in my raw vegan diet, so for now I am taking the supplement called Vega.
danita014 2 years ago
32mg of iron? you taking EPO or something? :)
1000mg of calcium? yeah one would need that if they are eating such an acid diet of animal products etc.
durianrider 2 years ago
Thanks for your response, I appreciate it. I am new to this so I'm just learning. I got those numbers from RDA and DRI charts and they recommend more iron for vegans. No I don't take any drugs, I'm just concerned I don't get enough iron since I get around 9mg only. So 500mg of Calcium is ok per day? That makes sense that vegans dont need as much since we dont have an acidic diet. Do you recommend taking power supplements such as Vega?
I appreciate any advice you can give :)
danita014 2 years ago
im not sure whats in vega but if its from brendan brazier im sure its good! :)
the only supp i do is b12. its the only one i can see of value for peeps living and training and working in this sterile society.
durianrider 2 years ago
Hey Harley,
Just to clarify something. The blood urea test you took was not a ph test, so lower does not mean more alkaline.
In fact, low blood urea would suggest one or more of the following:
Liver failure
Low protein diet
Malnutrition
Over-hydration
The low sodium levels can also be a sign of too much water intake, heart failure, or kidney failure.
Were you able to get a urine test done to rule out organ problems?
I say this out of concern because I also aspire to be raw vegan.
InvisiMan2006 2 years ago 2
Invima, ive tested my ph via urine and saliva extensively, its ALWAYS alkaline.
With me low urea is healthy. I follow a low protein diet that is the highest in vitamins and minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients, plant sterols etc. We can improve on this. I eat sufficient calories on a daily basis. This rules out malnutrition.
durianriders 2 years ago
Liver failure? Got that tested and its textbook fine.
Over hydration? compared to what, a dehydrated society? :)
My sodium is low by 1 unit. Thats nothing. If I went to another lab with different testing protocol I would have been in their range.
The day before I rode 211km and it was 33celcius. I did 5 hours with Valverde and Sanchez. 2 tour de france contenders.
Invisiman, what is your current diet and do you train with the best of the best in your sport? Get some blood tests n share.
durianriders 2 years ago
Good stuff then, you've ruled out the "bad" :)
I did 811rv for close to a year and had some issues (lots actually). Right now I'm eating a very simple vegan diet and haven't felt better. I'll be returning to more fruit in the summer, but until then I'm fine as it is.

:) a skeptic with no face! ha ha!
step up and quit yapp'n! :)
