  • Give the consumer an incentive and maybe more of us will do it. Even if it's just few $ off, as long as the economics work - DO IT!

  • You're right about the benefits for Diesel but people enjoy posting where they are and what they are doing. This is a novel way to show what they are up to. Plus, for marketers it's a way to use QR codes.

  • I think that the real benefit is for the consumers, because they are the ones who like to say what they like in Facebook, furthermore mobile users are used to check in everywhere with Facebook Places, so Diesel just brings the opportunity of making the same with the outfits you can see in the shop. Don't you think this means a benefit for the one who is going to buy his new jeans and wants to share with everybody that he is, it that moment, buying the coolest jeans in town?

  • @anita99 Wow, this response is so clearly from someone within the agency trying to justify their work. There is no way you should be able to claim that 'the real benefit is for the consumers' with a straight face...

  • I see no benefit for the user, only for Diesel.

  • Use BarDeCo Google chrome extension that lets you to Decode any QR code in one click (probably any 2D or 3D barcode)

    or Encode selected text or current URL to QR code.
