The other girls are her back up singers of course. The one is her sister in law, Lori Nicks I think her name is...The other one I'm not sure, but you can google it. I know her sister in law was her back up singer for decades. Stevie Nicks is awesome, no wonder my daddy loved her so much.
I love Stevie even met her once, but this is the worst video ever. She was far to above this, the song was not bad, but the video was not STEVIE, she even agrees. love you stevie!!
The worst video ever? LOL. Far from it. I would highly doubt if Stevie agrees with you.
Ann Wilson does have a great voice but as a performer, she never had the charisma that Stevie does. That being said, I think they both deserve to be in the Hall of Fame WAY before the likes of Joan Jett, who is nominated this year.
@hueseph - I'm not a a huge fan of either singer. But Ann frigging Wilson, boring white bread, generic arena rock Led Zep wannabe. Please be serious. Stevie has that sexy gypsy mojo working for her, Ann Wilson never impressed me. Her music sucked, along wth Journey, REO, Styx all that shit. Fleetwood Mac was also over-rated, but far more artistic than Heart.
@MrDavearama You're thinking '80s Wilson. Ann Wilson has incredible pipes. The only reason your think she's generic is because all other female rock singers are compared to her. You have no idea what you are talking about. Little Queen is an epic album. There are very few people who can sing that well. I think even Stevie Nicks would admit to that.
@MrDavearama As much as I love Stevie, I must disagree with your comments about Ann Wilson. I have seen Heart three times in the past two years, and Ann Wilson's voice can still shatter glass. Look up Heart's 2011 tour on YouTube. Pretend we're fast forwarding 20 years. Which singer would sound good and stand the test of time? Ann Wilson is a powerhouse. Again, I love Stevie - but think of this in a historical perspective. Who are the true greats?
I went and saw fleetwood macs concert ayear and a half ago in Melbourne with my 22 year old niece and as we left she said.....I would like to look like Stevie when I grow up....I burst out laughing and I said to her funny that I remember saying the same thing when I was your age......Stevie you are timeless...:)))
I got to see her a week ago for the first time and I am still getting over that concert - Oh my Lord - She looked and sounded amazing!! Whenever she comes back to Houston - I will be there again!!!
I just know this girl i like her a lot and she loves this long in one day i will be singing it to her i like her a lot .nice song never heard it be for .
I'm surprised that Stevie hasn't been inducted into the Country Western Hall of Fame yet...this song and others she has written sound more folk/ country than most contemporary country and their melodies are very good.
Stevie makes this world so fucking rich with her mystical essence, he deep brown eyes that could light fires with their intensity, drown you with their sadness, warm your heart with their sincerity. Her style, candid modesty, integrity and commitment, her poetry, vision, prophecy, her fearlessness and her fucking incredible voice that edges it's way from frailty and sensuality, through to "watch the fuck out!" - "please don't hurt me! Yes, yes I understand, I'll NEVER get away, please spare me"
@Dicarts Bella Donna was the first album to feature Nicks's back-up singers, Sharon Celani and Lori Perry, who have contributed vocals to all of Nicks's solo albums since then.
Isn't it so cute when she does that little dance before she starts singing and how she manages to get the best of you when she sings " I am stronger than you know" - Absolutely genius!!!
shes emotional detached because shes messed on coca-cola guys, too much caramel lines :P. But yea love this music, stevie was still great and this is coming from someone born in 1989
She sounds much less goat like here than normal. She puts no FEELING in her vocals though. It is like...i don't know...it is like she has no emotion or something. I don't get the attraction to her.
@cavegirl99 u r idiotic beyond belief,u would know a great singer if u heard 1,go listen to lady gaga or someone else that can't sing and has zero talent.
It was an incredible time when Fleetwood Mac was popular. I was 14 when I had my first album from my older sister and then went to my first Fleetwood Mac concert at 17 and you could see everyone was in love with her voice and her! She was a role model for us at the time. Strong independent and beautiful voice! What a great time in my life that was!
sounds okay.....but the song loses its meaning and punch with two women singing the second verse....that verse was written for a male...like Don Henley...Stevie singing this song with 2 other women just doesn't cut it
I wasn't born till 84, but I must have inherited my parents good taste because I friggin love stevie nicks! such a unique voice and an amazing song writer
I so wish that all people could have been around in the Fleetwood Days. There were such great singers back in that time and I am thankful that I got to experience all of it.
@moester46 So was I, and yes it was amazing. The energy was overwhelming at times. The gods of rock were still touchable (I was only a few feet from the Zep in 1969 at Fillmore West). I am still trying to figure out what happened.
This song was also a duet with Don Henley (drummer for the Eagles). I like that version the best. BTW Stevie Nicks was so hot! I had the biggest crush on her when I was a kid.
stevie has a way of touching a chord with in you as you listen to her voice that reverberates through out, what can i say stevie has a great voice love to listen to her
I agree. Another good one to see live is Tom Petty, he enjoys the audience and thanks everyone for coming between almost every song. If he ever comes to your town try to go to one of his concerts.

She has to be the finest female ever... I mean just look at that beautiful thing she is fucking amazing! Not to mention she has that unbelievable voice to go with her beauty. If I had a choice to be with any woman in the world for one night she wins hands down. STEVIE I WANT YOU TO WANT ME ! LOL
@evxdaddy i never heard of a period being beautiful for most women... more like make them a bitch..but her voice is beautiful for sure, one of the best
I remember a Dead show-UCLA Pav-Band was 45 minutes late-I wandered backstage-found em-N-asked WHATS UP? NO BEER they replied-WAIT HERE-they did-Flew to a liquor store-returned with 4 cases of their favorite-N-got to burnNbrew with em for another hour backstage-show was 2 hours late-heh heh-Then there was the nite I babysat Lowell George's 6 year old son during a Ronstadt show-Talk about a girl magnet! And New Years Cheap Trick TWICE-N-Zep's last concert ever.
A great artist-her entire life-ups and downs-magic, precious in her own way-so many songs she did carry on today-I was fortunate to live through this era, seeing Fleetwood, Eagles, Zep, Tull, Ronstadt, Stones, Blondie-the list goes on-My friend's brother was a printer who'd rip us 8 - 16 backstage passes we'd collect from roadies during their afternoon set up-I ended up partying with most of these artists in the L.A-Forum Club after the shows and rarely ever bought a ticket.
This appears to be from the HBO concert, that I actually have on DVD and this song wasn't on either. Where did this come from, and does anyone know if there was any other stuff cut from that show?
@Rickmeister3030 i had this tape for years. named white winged dove. leather and lace was edited out along with several others from the hbo special that i remember broadcast during the xmas holidays of 81 and released the following year.. but the performance did show up in the late 80s on beta and vhs titled 'it can't wait' (or) 'it won't wait' and among other clips included footage from an earlier promotion tour with tom petty (duet. stop dragging my heart around) or at least as i recall.
@georgemanzi I have it on VHs, but it is exactly the same thing as I have on DVD, I think my DVD is a bootleg or something though. Do you know what else was left out? Just curious as I can't think of anything else other than 1 or 2 songs from Bella Donna, but can't really see those as good live songs.
@Rickmeister3030 Bella Donna, How Still My Love, Angel, and Leather and Lace were the songs cut out. I would die if they resurfaced one day! Especially Bella Donna.
Real beatiful and touching scene with the three of them singing together like that. Unfortunately it's also quite chilling because that was the era that Stevie began destroying her beauty and voice with drugs. It's obvious that she's high on God knows what in this video. What a shame and a waste.
She couldn't carry a single note like that today - years of coke, smoke, and pills. Like Whitney, she had it -- indulged herself like a sow, and lost it. Never feel bad for rock stars - they far more than the ever deserve.
What a great song.

What a great performance - I bet blush sales were off the chart in the 80's.

Wonderful, wonderful. I wonder if Don ever sang this song with her live? What a concert that must have been; I wish I'd been there....
