@EtownMurderJunkie I don't any more. I purchased a home that winter after the video was shot. So now I live in a hollow near Rock Creek Park. But I still have a beautiful view.
@5yukjyhtgqreqwerijgv I sometimes miss living in Coastal Georgia. Mostly because I miss my friends. Over the past few years though I have really grown to love and appreciate all the beauties that come with living here.
Loved it! Beautiful country, neighbor. I sure do miss the coast of Maine tho. Stunning- & a LOT less humid in the summer!. I'd like to sell my place in Indiana & buy about 40 acres on the coast up there. People seem to like me up there, too. As a liberal, I've had to deal with 'the shunning' in the midwest for the past 24 years. The ONLY party I'd get here is a "going AWAY" party.
I'm sure my neighbors would cry as I left...for joy! Best wishes.
I am sure some of the town folk here would love to see me go. But I love it here and I get to stick around just to piss them off and still enjoy the beauty.
Grew up in Mass & Maine. I HAD a totally open mind about people here. I'm retired now so I think I'll give them a breather & go. They have moose & bear in MAINE! and property is CHEAP! :-)
I do not like Canadian geese myself as in the U.K. they are considered an invasive species and tend to out-compete native species for rescources. The lake two minutes from me now has no resident swans anymore and less and less native duck species than ever before. They're taking over! Do they make for good eating?
Yes they do. So do ducks, which is my favourite foul to eat. In the state I live in, the geese aren't protected animals. There is a hunting season every year to help thin them out and keep the population under control. I just like watching the wild life come through my yard on the next part of their journeys. I didn't have my camera with me at the time but last week I had a bear stroll through my yard.
jeez you like those things? They attack you, they bite, they eat anything they find and they shit like dogs! Here in toronto, lawns are covered in goose shit, but not dog shit kuz canucks are too nice.
I guess its a tourist for you and a tenant for me :D
These geese are a permanent gaggle that live in the town. None of them will actually come into the fenced area of the yard and I wont get that close to them.
You should send this to Largo64 if he hasn't seen it. I'm sure he'd appreciate seeing this. I watched largo64 showing us some flowers and trees. Sometimes I wish I could live a more peaceful life, but I'd need someone to share it with before I could survive it.

I'm so jealous. I don't even have a garden. Where you live is clearly very beautiful, no wonder you love it.
