So if I put salt in my washing powder chlorine. I should expect some burnt clothes. Btw its funny one of the powders is sodium hypochlorite since that's admitting its already mixing in sodium & chlorine together maybe that's why its dangerous to clothes. It doesn't burn them though, only whitens them where it shouldn't. I won't use that washing powder again.
No, Salt is a compound of Sodium chloride. Oh and Sodium hypochlorite is also a compound and yes it can be dangerous if over used, such as using soo much of it in your Swimming pool.
The salt wouldn't have been poisonious, the only thing, is that the NaCl(table salt) wouldn't have been the only products. Hydrogen gas (the reason for the fire) and NaOH would have been formed and depending on the quantity of chlorine and sodium present, excess chlroine would probably be left over.
Well why eat the salt if you can buy salt from a store. You see the difference between this sodium chloride and the one you buy in the store is that the one that is made here is made NaCl in the reaction, of course as you said its with the other compound also, but the table salt we eat is also iodized are prepared .
this reacted with no water ! maybe because of the metal part of sodium?

No the reaction was Sodium plus chlorine.

It's just normal table salt NaCl (sodium chloride)

No why use the salt? You don't use pure made Sodium chloride, they make them in the store and they are specially prepared. They are also Iodized.
