@MrSuperhero18 Probably the quality is not good for the concert. And also - low light situation during the concert will give a very bad picture with this camera. Something more expensive, I think, is needed - from Sony, Canon or Panasonic.
I have problems with my 5.5 which I assume all praktica cams may have. When I try put my videos of 1080p in the timeline, its not the full video and its all glitchy. Half the sounds and can't see anything. U think theres a specific codec i need or sumin i need to export it thru?
@ShitbagsGroup Sometimes the frame rate is not interpreted correctly. But with Sony Vegas and Praktica 10.1 I didn't have any problems, since it seems to load those videos correctly. I also had Praktica 5.1 a while ago, and I think it also was loading videos fine. Maybe you will need to transcode the file to a different codec/format before it can be used on a timeline.
@gyohng ye it plays fine in windows media player etc. but wen i bring it into the timeline on magix movie edit pro 16, its just glitchy and black. whats the internal one in sony vegas called, any ideas? sorry i'd just love to have this problem out the way haha
@ShitbagsGroup Sorry, I don't know if it might be possible to do it completely free of charge without actually 'buying' the software. The software on tmpgenc.net might be helpful to convert this format to something else, and then edit another format. Perhaps Magix support people might be able to resolve the problem, since their software is supposed to load everything? (it would be hard to change anything inside Praktica)
Within this price range, in my opinion, hardly another camcorder can compete. The codec format for editing in Apple's Final Cut Express was a major problem with long rendering times in the time line. BUT the solution is, Toast can batch convert the files to AIC Apple Intermediate Codec rather quickly and the clips pull right into the Time Line.
@waheex Yes, 10.1 is just the same. There is nothing that can be done about it - only to pick a different place, which does not have ambiguous objects for the camera to refocus.

I would put it this way: if you can live with the BIG problem presented in the last seconds of this video and a batery that lasts about an hour, don't hesitate to buy it. Picture IS this great if directly uploaded or edited with the right parameters.
Original clips are very compatible with Sony Vegas.

Yesterday I wasn't very lucky about the quality AFTER converting to MPEG2 or so (using "Super"). Will try it out these days and will let you know. Thank's so far...
I wouldn't use it for that, as the sound quality is not perfect. Besides, mostly indoor concerts do not have good lighting conditions, and in low light camera does not perform good at all, and tries to refocus all the time.
With the focus its the same on camera sony HDR-XR500 witch is not low price but very expencive, so i tink that al handy cameras have that focus problem, but on tis camera(sony) you can focus manualy.:D

I have Sony HC1E myself, and waiting for Sony XR550 to be released. It's however a pity that they still don't have a progressive scan 30p or 25p, while all their competitors do.

@yerko21051989 I think this camera supports 16Gb SD cards without problems, though I myself only tested it with 8Gb SD card.

hi I have the 5.1 praktica and the auto focus is bad it constantly refocuses itself and is very noticable. I wonder is the 10.1 camera as bad?

@waheex Yes, 10.1 is just the same. There is nothing that can be done about it - only to pick a different place, which does not have ambiguous objects for the camera to refocus.

@gyohng hi thanks for that. It;s a real pity that if does not have manual focus, even my basic SD miniDV cam has manual mode.
