WHY IS CHECKING INTO FOURSQUARE ABOVE 50TH STREET CONSIDERED "BOLD"?!?! I FIND THAT AP/COMMENT OFFENSIVE AS I AM A PERSON OF COLOR AND PRESUMABLY THAT IS WHAT THE COMMENT ALLUDES TO. IF I AM WRONG, THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS MEANT.ADDITIONALLY I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER USE FOURSQUARE. MY REASON IS THAT FINDING PLACES OR EXPLORING CITIES SHOULD BE AN "ORGANIC" EXPERIENCE SOMETHING UNIQUELY YOURS THAT YOU TAKE AWAY FROM THE JOURNEY, PEOPLE CAN HAVE SKEWED VIEWS AND PREFERANCES. (i.e.Sarah P.)
@PlaidmanUTube I'm not even certain if your comment warrants a reply, you obviously have some history books that need some dusting off, my suggestion to you would be that you try to "understand" someones viewpoint first before you attack it. Someone once said "Children should be seen and NOT heard"
@CAEWAR For every city or area with a high crime rate there's people living within that area that delude themselves into believing the media is just making up the crime statistics, and then blame the compiled statistics on racism. So explain how you're different, it's just boring and old calling everyone who's not black racist, or in your words, "alluding" that they are, probably time for you to obtain a new crutch in life.
@PlaidmanUTube I can explain how I'm different in many ways, all too long for this post. However I can start by saying I don't live in the "High Crime Rate Area" that you assume one might because of my ethnicity To presume otherwise WOULD BE RACIST! I'm just examining the facts of the CNN broadcast as they were presented, Would it be just as "Bold" for Muslim-Americans to work, shop, or try and dine out ANYWHERE near "Ground Zero"? Or catch a movie in Bensonhurst, or Garden City?
thumbs up if you got here from College Humor vid "foursquare for sex"

@CAEWAR Upset at all? I guess you would be upset also if the "Bold" award was given for every city south of San Francisco... lol
