9. Play wow if you want to play a giant free to sxplore world. Loading screens are not new in that expansion. They have always been in NWN Games.

storm of zehir is the shittist expansion to NWN i have ever played in my life...

the original NWN(2002) is more enjoyable than this... you had loads of props... catapults, ballistas a decent storyline, bigger areas, no need for an "overland map"... do i need to go on?

I hear ya. Im not sure what the deal is with Storm. I have a fairly decent system, but the overland map slows me down - its really choppy. I stopped mid way through NW2 and downloaded Storm because the graphics look great, however, its bogging me down...

Does anyone know if they plan to keep the NeverWinter series going? Any follow-ups to Storm planned?

2. random pointless quests

3. overland map is just retarded

4. very very very small restrictive zones/areas to explore... neverwinter city... well you get the idea.

5. awkward camera controls

6. OTT music

7. forced to fight monsters in overland map as you progress... annoying for high levels

8. game should be more challenging if you are playing a high level character/main

9. too many loading screens (should be a giant world to explore)

10. it's boring and predictable

I TOTALLY DISAGREE:

1. I dont know what you did, or even if you really played the game... but it seemed you missed the plot.

2.There is a storybased chain of quests and sidequests

3.Overlandmap is a new feature, how you use it depens on, which skills your party has.

5. I think the controlls are better then before.

6. Music is just fine. Each part of NWN2 got its own kind of music. This one is more orchestral and a bit musical like.

Obsidian really should work on their trailers.

Lousy combat animations, unnatural camera angles and oversized flashy spell effects aren't selling points.

I agree, they really should focus on their storylines as a selling point. The OC had a pretty good story and Mask of the Betrayer had a GREAT one. While I fear that this focus on a trading system and economy thing may take away from the story, I'm optimistic about the implications to modding. One thing I hope to see is some new armor models like MotB brought, especially some better looking plate helms.

yea to be able to play nwn2 you need a lot of Ovverides from the nwnvault...otherwise its too buggy and the AI sucks XD

Me 2, but the game was invented for BG and IWD fans :P However the game still kicks ass. If it only wasn't so unbalanced...

Ditto, I like to immerse myself in the role of one character, the OC and MOTB already had terrible companion AI and a poor over-the-shoulder camera that made controlling just your character difficult, I don't like how SoZ's emphasis is on even more group play.
