just a thought ,if you ever get a chance to go to one of ians road shows GO,he is as good with his show as he is with his fishing ,i have to say watcing this man fishing with the slider is poetry in motion effortless, his acurracy pinpoint, this is true of other methods ,but the slider was ians baby he perfected it,and provided us all with a brilliant method ,all the hard work and thought already done ,how selfless is that then again a great man

@mowwam i was lucky enough to be tought by him, be a part of his junior angling squad, had the honour of being asked by him to teach some of the public in pembrokeshire fish week down at his fishery and compete with and against him most sundays... he can tell you by a matter of a few inches how deep or shallow you need to go... a top guy in the sport

i met ian a few weeks ago , i was on holiday and i rented some tackle off him and he seemed like a really nice guy , I didnt pay for tuition but he sat with me for about 2 hours telling me about winning the world championship and stuff , his fishery looked really nice aswell i had 10 fish out , 6 of them were carp , biggest was 10lb in just 2-3 hours.

Ian is THE man! He got me into course fishing by helping me and showing me how to fish properly. When i was younger i used to go out to his fishery every single weekend and he was always on hand to help out and show you where your going wrong. Kindest, friendliest man you'll ever meet. Thanks Ian

Pinkys are little red maggots. You can get them from your local tackle shop.

@faylonglis pinkies are the product of the green bottle ,little escape artists they can climb out of anything,as ian says in the video particulary when the weather /water tempreture drops and the fish want a small bait ,get your hands on his videos ,trust me u wont regret it,if you want too breed your own pinkies or other maggots let me know
