I have X3 gold. I came with reunion and terran conflict. I think (If there is an X4) they should base it on X2's layout/gameplay. I prefer X2 to the X3s

The song had nothing to do with the game, i just used it to fit the video like most of my other videos, and egosoft are a good game company which recently held a official video competition in which I did get a prize. In that video i created for the compeition i used a piece of the games music. EGOSOFT don't mind the X3 soundtrack 08217 being in this video.

The sound has been disabled because i used half of REM's song, the great beyond. I am actually quite annoyed about it as it was only half the video the the song occupied. WMG are the only music company i know of that are this strict. I was offered to music swap, but the music the allowed me was rubbish. Also i had other sound on the video i can't get back. So f*** you WMG.

well this would be kinda out of topic, but I did manage to take over all the pirate and xenon sectors with 100 titans in X-Tension, those were the days. Also I used mods to get them.

i managed to get out all the split with their own ships.just like stabbing them in the back., no mods used.pure notoriety upgrades and money earn.i ended up with 17 pythons and 32 elephants which gave me reputation amongst the boron and tottaly whiped them out. good thing is that now i can build in those sectors.Course it needed eventually lots of work but i am now thinking on whiping out the whole teladi, pirate,and yaki if i find them.BALA GI missions pwn and the station is amazing.

ive saved me enaugh money in the beginning for the titan - bought me one cause i couldnt go thourgh the main quest ( got killed every time ) ive sending Titan thourgh gate it only stands there and does nothing even if it get attacked it only bears my other ships but with 8 lasers or even more it dont attack :(

well now im a bit knowledged about playing it but how do i take over a sector and overtake enemie ships that were left in battle ???

The only way you can take over a sector properly is using a script. I would suggest using google to search for this script: Sector Takeover v 2.4.3

a battle? yeah, of course. just shoot at some guys in a main-sector like argon prime or PTNI HQ. but remember, you should have at least 20 m2 to back up your ass and clean up the sector

the only bad thing i find about X3 is that when you blow up something bigger then an M3 class fighter, the explosions are rather... crappy it goes like 100 times small explosions on a station and no big blast and sometimes wrecks are left behind... nothng much to see there either, but ive got much fun from this game and itll always be a classic

i agree, all the explosions are really weak... even the small craft, a rather pixelated 2d explosion graphic appears in front of the ship, then disappears, and then the ship disappears.

all in all though this is a beautiful game

xenon, i was exploring today, went into a sector and was surrounded by like 30 xenon fighters, , hmm i jsut outrun them like usual and i tried to make a break for their space stations, so i tried goign towards this one spot where it seem the area was clear, until that area of stars started shooting blue balls at me and i realized i was so clsoe to the damn cruiser and it was so dark i couldnt tell, so i tried to run and there were 6 more cruisers around the gate...

The xtended mod, i think is a completly different game to x3. it has a much bigger universe and better fx and graphics .... so yeah it is good, i think it is the most professional fan based mod i have seen. It even makes the game quicker although there are bugs.
