how is my fruits suggestion going on? ^^ I love the granny square variation :) and I was wondering how can we make a vest for children using the granny square stitch 've seen one on a blog and I loved it but I am having no clue of how to make one can you help please? ^^
@marialuisaponce18 You are being to hard on yourself. We are all critical of our as we are making it. If you are a beginner, it is part of learning. Your stitch tension will get better as you practice. The more you practice, the better you get. Thank you for your kind words.
@marialuisaponce18 try changing the colors too because I don't like the original one on the afgan but I loved the one that Teresa just made and it's aaaaalll because of the colors and as she said your stitch will improve via crocheting very often (that was what hapened with me too) so no worries my dear and good luck with more crocheting
Teresa you're awsome your granny square variation is just killing me and I don't have enough to make them all :( but thx a lot :)
but the way Teresa how would it look like if I work with a smaller hook and thread (or lace or whatever you call it I'm not a native speaker so it's a thread to me, and I mean by thread the one you use for the needle holder elegant motif !!!)
I was trying to work this with the written instructions and having a hard time with rnd 2 Round 2. Ch 3, 2 DC, CH 2; 3DC, CH2, 3DC, CH2 in next space, repeat two more times. For last corner shell, CH 1 and SC join to beginning CH3. Cut the yarn, secure and change color.
should be ch 1 between the corner shells and the start should be CH 3, 2 DC in the beg CH SP as it is looks like (Ch 3, 2 DC, CH 2; 3DC, CH2, 3DC, CH2 ) should go in every chain 2 space.
Teresa - I just crocheted this along with your video, and up until right now all I've ever done is ripple afghans. I had no idea granny squares were this easy - they always looked so intimidating to me! I am so glad I found this because my grandmother recently passed away, and my dad has been shipping me her needlework to finish up and give to family members. Thanks to your wonderful instructions, now I can!
This is a beautiful square :) How would I join the squares though if I were to make a blanket out if them? I was thinking about making a Tetris themed granny square blanket, and this seems like a great square for the game pieces.
i love this square, how would you attach them to make an afghan?
i tired to do an extra round to even it out into a more square shape but i think it looks better without. can you just attach it at the corners? if so what stitch should i use so i know that it is sturdy?
This video was amazing! The pattern is truly inspired! Great job! I love how you slowed down enough for the audience to keep track during tricky portions of the pattern. The speech in the video was clear and concise as you explained what you were doing. Thank you so much for this!
Please really please I ned your help!!! I would like to know wich kind of wool are you using here and in the other videos that you made (it seems all the time the same one) and another thing: I really need to have the little coloured thng in rubber that you use in your crochet to don't loose your work and your crochet during the progress ok your work. Here in Italy does't exist thig kid of thing but if you know a web link where to buy that thing.... PLEASE!!!!!!! THANK OU I LOVE YOUR WORKS!
I have never seen a triple cluster done like that, that's very nice. could you call the stitch somewhat of a back post triple cluster? I'm going to have to try this one.
ive just finished this and ive impressed my self that much i even posted you a picture on your facebook page lol
