You can use any range by just worrying about zeroing the weapon at 100 yards which is easily available anywhere. Yes, zeroing the weapon at 300 yards would be better, but the closest range in Dallas that has that is all the way out west of Fort Worth.
@ctwreview You don't need to actually zero at 300 meters. You can zero for 300 meters by using a 300m simulated target. It's how they have us zero in the Army and we actually qualify our weapons later on targets that are actually 300 meters away and we could still hit them accurately.. So the method works fine.
do you think that just 2 dots in the ring would be too cluttered or blurry? (un-magnified)
