the ship at 0:10-0:31 is a locust corvette a small ship with maybe 20 gunsXD but i still like it. i have a poseidon 72 gun line ship :PPPPPP

you cant take other players on your ship, and yes you can fight on land too.

Players controll their ship, so all the people on the ship is NPCs. Btw, this game is now free to download and play for 14 days! (go to Pirates of the Burning Seas' homepage for download/ trial key)

OH! and can u like..hmm...like when you are free sailing can u walk around your ship freely or do u have to be steering it like in a racing game? like you can walk around on the deck and stuff.

There are 3 aspects of moving around in the game. The first in open ocean you just steer your ship around like in a race car game. The scene where you see my clans black sails we are in the open ocean. The scenes where you see cannons firing is combat instance there you see your crew doing various things on the ship. Only if you are in port or decide board another ship do you actually get to walk around and do combat and enter other buildings etc.

oh, wish they would do like SWG and be able to change the views. like you enter space and you can walk around and decor your ship. that's be awsome. but ty.

Ok, my computer can handle SWG, but not Guild wars or WoW when i do combat. like ill fight for a while then my entire computer will crash. Think it could handle this? im on Spring Break and havent been able to try it out. oh and can you WALK in the game or must u constantly run? (Like in SWG u hold the left shift while arrow keys or w/e and ur guy walk instead of constantly running)

The game has come a long way since it has launched. This video was done the weeks leading up to Launch. If your computer can handle WoW and you can handle RAIDS in Wow then I think it would be able to handle this one.

You can walk in the game and I think it is either the shift key or tab I forget which one.

Ah alright cool. uhh i never got passed like lvl 14 n WoW. but W/e, i can play SWG EASY, no lag or anything. but WoW and GW seem to crash my comp when i get into a battle. it does like after maybe an hour or so of light battles or maybe 30 min. if im non stop fighting.

the beta was free but it was released in Jan 08.  It is a Massive Multiplayer Online Game like World of Warcraft etc.
