its green!! bollocks do you know how much electricity these things use. they also damage property and warp furnature. a proper treatment takes time, expertise and is very effective. i say if its not broken dont fix it!! also this treatment isnt residual so if you just so happen to miss one then the customer is going to haveto fork out for another expensive treatment and another huge electricity bill

While it is more expensive than pesticides keep this in mind: 1) Pesticides rarely work in a single treatment. 2) With pesticides you often have to replace your mattress and bedding, so build in that cost, too. Does this work on more type of pests? If a person/home has a termite or flea infestation is this effective? Are you working on this problem as well? A few years ago we got a flea infestation and had to call professionals after we tried "bombing" the home several times. I would have preferred your technique to theirs. Please reply if possible. I live in west central Illinois.

I have heard of mixed results with heat. Also there is not residual effect. What if some of the BB's escape the heat and then come back? Pyrethrins have a long track record of safety and also have a residual.

What if you are living in a building and the bedbugs are a systemic problem. You get treated and the guy next door does'nt, and he has bedbugs. The bedbugs head for the hills when the heat is on, then come back when it's safe. I am sure heat can be effective( probably ineffective when used by dolts) , if done properly. But so can pyrethrins and a integrated approach. Synthetic pyrethrins have a decent residual and have a good safety track record. Permethrin is used in scabies/lice treatment.
