  • boring not the best

  • @Todolegoman I know, sorry. It was for a friend of mine who asked m for some help. Guess I should have made it personal. I just didn't have the time, at the time to make it artful, fun and educational. I was in a hurry. There are lots of other much better tutorials, I know.

  • is this imac2009 or imac2006?i need to know

  • @MikoAkau 2009

  • @daligoddess2006 oh by the way your backround is kinda of creepy

  • @MikoAkau Yeah, so I've been told. LOL

  • Hey! You can select a clip by pressing command a.

  • @mgmarcus2 Thank you!

  • Thanks

  • OMG UR BACKGROUND FREAKED ME OUT

  • can yo do dis on yo pc

  • @Jletalon Yes you can. You will use Windows Movie Maker on a pc. I really like WMM, although it's a bit different from iMovie. Just open up the program and play with it for a while you can't hurt it. They give instructions for how to use it too.

  • You are so cute! It's a quite good how to video! Thanks! ^^

  • @suyon1004 Thank you for watching! ツ

  • Great vid, Thanks for your help... I'm new to Macs but just started to get the hang of it. I usually use Camstudio to record screen activity on windows ... What did you use to video this tutorial....? Thanks again...Cheers...

  • What version of imovie is this? it looks nothing like mine...

  • @FinalExitRadio iMac version OS X

  • @daligoddess2006 I mean, what year?

  • @FinalExitRadio 2009 I think.

  • @daligoddess2006 Thank you. :)

  • @CaNnEdChEeSePuFfZ and @osmcooljen It's called scanner art. I covered the scanner with plastic wrap because we were using flower petals and some paint for other pics. I didn't want to ruin my scanner. The kids tested it out first and that was the photo that we got. It does look a little scary--sorry if it disturbs you--IT'S ONLY ART. Frankly, I wasn't thinking about my desktop photo when I made the video.

  • your background is.... disturbing...

  • Thank you so much :)

  • @singingismypassion30 you're welcome!

  • you have a very scary background xD

  • ok, right off the bat.... ur backround scared me shitless

  • @jesusjimenezatPOTCO Yes, iMovie comes already installed on you iMac.

  • Omfg whats with your desktop picture

  • @jazzkick0 Hahahaha! It's called "scanner art". It was an art challenge for an artist's site to which I belong. It's my niece. She and her brother modeled for me. I know it's a bit disturbing, but that was the point. Scanner photos usually are a bit disturbing anyway. I put plastic wrap over the scanner to protect it from some of the things we used as props. I ended up really liking the ones without any props because they looked SO SCARY.

  • I used to make movie (like AMVs) in windows, but I've just switched to Mac (reluctantly).

Can iMovie be used to make AMV too or it can only make slide show?

    Isn't there timeline window there?

  • Now I need to switch to Mac.

  • You'll be working at the local genius bar at the Apple Store soon. You're so good at this.

  • Thank you for making this. I've had my mac for two + years and now maybe I can get busy making some videos! :)

  • OMG i hate it people on the Mac use a FUCKING screen capture there is one on 10.6 built in for free FFS its not hard

  • @ TFDgohan Please do a tutorial for all us dumb ass noobs. I know it's difficult for you "seasoned" mac users to watch us original PC's fumble around with iMac's intelligence! Thanks! ~Love and Peace

  • @daligoddess2006 no i wont just go to Quicktime X then in at the top were the menus are its in there it says Rec screen. see its not hard. also the funny thing is im not even on a Mac yet and i know how to use one lol switching next weekend

  • Thanks for the info. I don't think anything is hard, it's just about knowing where to go for what. Good thing you're switching next weekend. Someone as smart as you should be using a mac! lol

  • @daligoddess2006 no prob and thanks :D if u want how to videos then if u want i will give u my new channel that will have all that on there? it will also have anything such as Gameplay videos but nothing 2 do wit windows on it tho lol

  • Sometimes I really wish I had a mac. I have so many issues with making my movies on my PC

  • I don't have a Mac, but that program looks very cool! Hugs :-)

  • I really need to try a video in imovie. It seems easy when I watch someone do it. But, when I go to use it myself, I always seem to get stuck...

  • very helpful Kim - thanks. The "trim to selection" is just what I'm needing! How about one on Garage Band?

  • I'd be shocked every time I would stat up my PC with a backdrop like that greeting me.

Good tutorial though. Basic but comprehensive enough to get a whole video done. Very good. Almost like you have a degree in education. ;^)

  • @PuppyZwolle Thanks Puppy! I did my best, although it doesn't seem I am very good at multi-tasking these days! lol

  • For educational puposes that is a good thing. ;^)

    Like a wise man said:

    "Learn from other peoples mistakes.

You just don't have the time to make them all yourself."

  • Hahaha! Soooooo TRUE!

  • we luvs ya sweetie. thank you.

  • @iMBBonlyone Thank you!
