yep, i grew up in Lafayette, La.. and my Grandparents were from NO.. This was a staple on the radio during Mardi Gras!

I don't have HBO so no Treme for me, but I grew up in New Orleans and this was a fixture on the radio every year when Mardi Gras rolled around.
