I once thought like this poor guy. I was trying to get all my friends in Scientology, and I thought it had all the answers, but there was always a the big problem of trying to get reality to match up with Scientology. Its kind of like oil and vinegar. No matter how much effort you put mixing the two, it never stays mixed.

as much as issac had talent - he was a religious bigot. he had no problem taking his paycheck while poking fun at other religions, but when scientology was pawned, he was so disgusted he quit south park. when scientology is finally brought down, and we are able to see all of the dirty deeds that will be exposed, hayes will be less remembered for his music than his support of an evil fucked up cult.
There are some people who say that Issac didn't actually quit South Park but that his handlers from the cult had done so for him. He had a stroke only a few months before when they announced his leaving South Park on Hubbard's birthday.
Also its been said that when the "Trapped in the closet" episode first ran he didn't have a problemm with it.
In the long run I think you are correct that his support of the evil cult of scientology will tarnish his real accomplishments as a musician!
To be misguided by a ideology is one thing. To misguide others is quite a different matter. The above video is what happens when an individual abuses his status.
