Brock does not train at Minnesota Martial Arts Academy. He trains in Brainerd with Jared, Marty Wagner, Nate Schute, etc and in Minneapolis with everyone at Revolution Defense and Fitness.
Just an update for those who care, as of April, 2010 Brock Larson is a black belt in Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu under Dave Camarillo. It is true that Brock trains at Koumei Dojo in his hometown of Brainerd, MN ( with Dave Camarillo black belt Jared Feierabend) but in the Twin Cities he also trains at Revolution Defense and Fitness ( with Dave Camarillo black belts Damian Hirtz and Klint Klaas) and also at Minnesota Martial Arts Academy.
If Brock Larson trains with a Camarillo Jiu Jitsu affiliate then he and Jon Fitch are technically on the same team. AKA, Fitch's camp, has Dave Camarillo as the head BJJ instructor.
Phenomenal top game- The defender was using decent escape attempts too, but each was answered-If Larson trained with some top boxers/kickboxers/did some serious sparring- noone would touch him.IMO His grappling style is perfect for UFC.
Bgoff27- 1.) when I saw this vid I had no idea who either fighter was-I just thought Larson would be perfect for the UFC 2.)Since Fitch did not knock out or tap Larson I rest my case. 3.)Though your internet Trolling skills are impressive If I saw one of YOUR grappling matches I suspect I MIGHT not have the same critique.4)- While Googling I found out there is also a writer named John Fitch. Add that to your list of nonsequeter banter when trolling a Fitch post :P
Using an inverted guard against Brock has bad idea written all over it. He's a master at the top game! And a great teacher.
