i bought my maltese puppy from a breeder. but i'm planning to adopt a shelter dog when i get married. i can't wait.. i'm really afraid to go to dog shelter though.............. i'm going to want to adopt all the dogs there and i'll be so sad when i leave with just one and all those eyes looking at me leave.... =(
I cried my eyes out - lost my little Tazzy to cancer despite all the vet care and it killed me to put her down. She was a "rescue" dog, too. The thought of having another "tazzy" around thrills me... I will never get over her - she was the sweetest, funniest smartest little creature that just needed a little bit of attention and love. I miss her little smile and unconditional love...
Saw this video via FB in an animal group I belong to. Bless you precious Peter and your forever family for giving you a chance. I am owned by a puppy mill rescue chihuahua. Her spirit was sooooo broken and she was in the mill for only 2 years. I have had her for a year now and she is such a different precious lil soul. Please, NEVER EVER buy a puppy, rescue one. Bless you Peter and have a wonderful life!
I always think I'm not going to cry and end up sobbing! How could anyone say Peter was ugly? I am so happy he found a loving home, and look how healthy he looked by the end of the video! I am so grateful that there are so many people out there who, like me, just love all animals unconditionally and want them to be happy.
I started my day yesterday crying my eyes out while watching this video. You're a true angel, N., and Peter couldn't have ended up in a more caring, loving home.
Thank you for sharing your story, Peter. I will be forever grateful to your Mom and Dad for seeing how beautiful you are and taking you home to enjoy a brother and sister too. I hope everyone who sees your video goes out to adopt a new member to the family. Bless you and yours, little one! Hannah
It is truly amazing what love can do! I have seen many shelter dogs and cats become wonderful, beautiful pets (I have some)! This is a gorgeous boy who would have easily been another statistic if not for the love and committment of his new mommy and daddy. Please spread the word to others to make a difference by adopting a shelter pet. This was a beautiful video!!!
I am over here crying my eyes out. I so remember this baby. I have 2 from Carson. You all are such a blessing and will be blessing HEAVENLY for your dedication and commitment to this love bug! PEOPLE this is an example of GOD's love!! not emotion..but LOVE which heals ALL!!
