After i restore my ipod touch it turns back to normal a when i leave it alone for a while it whats to restore again. When i use it my apps get stuck on the first screen and when i reboot it and try to get wifi it has grreyed out wifi and the bluetooth says unavaliable. when it try to type some notes the ipod freezes on the screen. And some times when i try to restore it again it says error 1601 [i think that means hardware issuses].

you dont have to follow this kids steps all you have to do is go into itunes hold shift click on restore and find the 3.1.2 firmware in your computer click on it and restore it should work, it worked for me

Once i upgraded back to iTunes 9.0.2 i got my iTunes to recognize my iPod and then kicked it out of recovery mode with Blackra1n. Now everything's fine. hope this helps.

One random day iTunes told me I needed to restore my iPod, so i did, and I got error 1604 and my iPod was stuck in recovery mode (stuck on the Connect to iTunes logo). (I've never tried to jailbreak it) But I ran blackra1n without an upgraded firmware and it went through the whole process it does when you try to jailbreak it and once it told me your ipod has been successfully jailbroken, it restored it back to the everything I had on my iPod before it got stuck in recovery mode.

All batteries eventually get worn out. You can't do anything about that. If you have warranty on your iPod, Apple will replace it with a new one. With the wifi, if restoring it doesn't fix the issue, it is the same with the battery, take it into the Apple Store or call Apple. I had the wifi issue once and restoring it fixed the issue.

Since I made this video a little while ago, I used the 3.0 firmware, the latest firmware that was out back then. Now, the latest firmware that is out is 3.1.2. Use that firmware. I will put a link in the description to download the official version of any firmware.

Try holding down the home and on/off button till it shuts off. Then once the Apple logo comes up continue holding the home button, but let go of the on/off button. If that doesn't work, plug it in and open iTunes. Then hold the on/off and home button for exactly 10 seconds. The let go of the on/off button and continue holding the home button for exactly like 10 seconds. Look at a clock to make your timing exactly 10 seconds. If either those solutions work, just do the restore process in iTunes.

If neither of those solutions work, contact Apple if you haven't jail broken your iPod or iPhone, and contact the Dev-Team if you have jail broken your iPod or iPhone.
