If you can't do local product properly, don't do it at all.
Not the STW/NWS local staff fault, working for WIN with the budgetary hand tied behind your back can't be easy.
These shows were not a patch on state based CA shows that aired before the mid-90's, why, not the proper budget to hire experience and ride out the slow beginnings in bedding a new show.
Ultimately, I blame the shocking policy decisions of Federal Govts since the 70's for TV today.
Apologies to those working hard on this program, but honestly, GWN pump out a better effort each night by a long shot.
Story selection is akin to Jerry Springer in prime time.
I'm sure the presenter is a great journo, but her voice lacks the real authority required for this job probably because she'd be great in 10 years. But WIN, we know their caper and why they pick people.
I can't believe they have someone hosting a current affairs show...who looks no older than 15..........pretty woeful...........and I have never heard of her......Louise Momber.....
I swear she said "Hello perth, we are coming to you live to give you bias phony reports focused locally on you, so we can invoke more fear into your daily lives"
Do people still seriously take in the horseshit these shows produce?
@wyrwich i completely agree with the poor quality of journalism in these current affairs programs, but the great thing about the localized aca's was that if you saw the interview she did she said that the show wasnt so much more about the rubbish you tend to see on these shows, and more about the big issues and stories that effect perth
Axed! Can't believe it took this long.

Don't forget Current Affair's arch-nemesis...
The Local COUNCIL!
Finally we get to learn of the untold horrors they perpetuate on innocent grannies and pregnant women.

she should have thanked Greg and Dixie during the throw

I think the reason Louise didn't thank Greg and Dixie is because the show is replayed half an hour later on WIN after the local news.
