  • I like the recipe >> but I will not use rice wine ,,,can I avoid it and use vineger?

  • Hahah the cuckoo clock WTF! I like your small garbage can with bag setup there. Good knife mechanics also and seems like a nice fresh salsa. I will make this soon when my cilantro gets up to size.

Can I ask what brands of knives you used in this video?

Keep up the good work mate, I am trying to compile a months worth of great recipes and I think I can learn a lot from you.

  • I love mango salsa and I have found that if they are too soft or too ripe, they are too mushy to chop. you're looked to be the perfect consistency of ripeness.

  • Susan,

Yep, I was very pleased with the ripeness of this mango for January. It was spot on.

    Brian

  • What consistency should we look for when selecting the mango?

  • I'm going to accomplish my goal of gaining weight after watching you cook all of this great looking food!!

  • Tom, you will have to actually ingest food. Studies have shown watching cooking videos alone does to add to ones waist.

    LOL

Chef Brian - Thanks for the positive feedback tom.

  • Very funny!

    LOL

  • This may just inspire me to cook someday. Looks yummy! Does it come in jars? All that chopping scares me. p.s. Do you have a coo coo clock?

  • It is simple to make, yes you can sometimes find similar relishes at nice upscale markets.

The dam coo coo ... NO

I do have a newer pc with vista, and every 15 mintues it makes this dam noise!

    Ugh

    Chef Brian

  • That looks good, and very simple. The only hard part will be finding a fresh mango. We have a Philippino store that sells exotic foods. Maybe they'll have mango.

    Thanks!

  • Sure, you can also use:

    Pinnapple & papya ...

    Brian

  • i agree, that was a fantastic delivery.

looked easy to do and good to eat.

    nice job,

    XEM

  • Thanks ... ;-)

  • A really well done episode, brian. Oh, and when you slammed your knife into the ends of the onions I was like "OMG how does he do it?!" This really was one of my favorites!

  • Perfect ;-)

    Thanks Alex ..
