  • why don't you guys merge with Norml? since you are made from a former member of Norml

  • Az votes in Nov and I have been telling everyone. Some are still apposed and to damn conservative. I am in a Bkfast Networking Club for Business, We had three of our candidates for Congress talk to our group. So far all were against legalizing it however they are in favor for MMJ. However you can always tell they are trying to give you a safe answer while distancing themselves from the topic. All Politicians are 2 face F*ckers!!

  • @tucsonpersonified

    one step at a time...

  • Remember when it was exciting just to hear about medicinal marijuana being decriminalized in a state or municipality, and now I'm hearing states are beginning to change the legislation that stops people who just want to get high for personal enjoyment, and have every right to. The MPP should have an advertisement on television with an elderly janitor speaking to the camera and saying: Marijuana is the only way I can enjoy my job. Why do you want to take that away from me?

  • They need to legalize and tax it in PA some time this year. I'm tired of waiting.

  • You Guys Are The Best We Need To Make It Legal Here In Cali!!

  • Grats gentlemen! I totally support MPP and all the fantastic work you folks are doing there. Im proud to know we have great bunch people out there fighting to make a better change to this tense world we live in! God Bless You All!

  • Leniency is Dangerous, not Compassionate

  • Baby steps f/ rec. user's, giant steps for medical users, big business & government, Leaps & bounds backward for the everyday user / tax payer. Free the weed! Plant the seed!

  • thank you!

  • feelin the formal code and backround step up ..keep it up guys

  • then you have private jails and prisons. plus people don't realize that everything they spend on inmates is usually recovered. felons pay extensive fines after being released. then you have to do drug classes at around 20 per hour. drug screenings at 35 dollars per test and so i think with all that taken into account you can see why police and other so called "authorities" are against the idea. with marijuana legal i would think the judicial branch would get 50% smaller

  • I find it hard to believe that all of the costs are recouped through such small fees, in the UK the cost of keeping a prisoner is over £200 per day. I don't see how that figure would be much lower in the US, an offender would have to attend those drug classes for the rest of their lives to pay for their own bed and board.

  • @angryafghan

well remember that when you are a prisoner you're worked for free. the state gets 12 prisoners per detail so you're saving lots of money from road maintenance to farm work. you only have to pay for one guard per detail. of course the state pays for each detail but only 30k so divide that by 12. where i was the facility listed that they earned 2.5 million in 2009 profits.

  • @angryafghan

i definitely understand but like i said they provide free labor in most prisons. and they listed profits which means they are earning money not behind. plus even if its a strain on the government to pay these people. they pay taxes, they consume goods which they feel helps spread the money. plus like i said, the police force would shrink tremendously. look at the army. they dont need all these people but they still spend 750billion a year. if we pull out the army would shrink

  • First i should say that i am for legalizing marijuana. but one thing i often hear is that we could get revenue from taxing it. what people don't realize is that we make more money by keeping it illegal. what i mean by that is; you have cops, dea officials, judges, lawyers, district attorneys, probation officers, parole officers, prison guards, etc, etc all employed because we have a "need" for them. even though it costs money for all these people they generate money through taxes and consuming

  • All of those resources could be put to better use, catching real criminals instead of throwing people with debilitating illnesses in jail, where they die from neglect.

  • @yosemite4000

I hear you bro; but at the same time, all those professions/employments you mentioned will still be in "need" if bud were legalized. The difference would be that attorneys and agencies such as the DEA will focus on more serious crimes and etc.

  • Legalize AND DONT TAX IT FTW!

Keep the govt's greedy fuckin fingers outta my STASH BRO!

  • taxing it is the ONLY way to get it legazlized so get used to it

  • @TEUFELHuNDEN420

Unlike you but respectable Americans would like to see taxs for schools and roads and hospitals.

  • @HinduxSkunk DUDE are you RETARDED?

The MONEY generated from a new GREEN economy will pale in comparison to just ENDING FAILED WARS LOL! Don't you know Afghanistan is where superpowers go to die??

  • Greetings from PORMAL in the PHILIPPINES!!!

These videos serve as updates and information for us here in the other side of the world. KEEP the world informed. ALL eyes on legislation and social change is currently on the US.

LEGALIZE...and a whole lot will follow. its a little fact we cant deny.

Be the proponent for worldwide change.

Keep us informed. In time, we'll be sending updates from this side too. thanks!!!!

  • This is really interesting, i'm glad the US is getting some of this crazy mess sorted out. I hope the UK can do the same... keep up the videos guys!

  • Also oregon has OCTA 2010 Oregon Cannabis Tax Act 2010 this year trying to legalize marijuana and i believe washington has one as well and of course california. tomrichardson83 sorry to hear that because of our current laws you with some pile of shit, thats why everyone who thinks legalizing should needs to come together while this topic is being talked about like this, TAX&REGULATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow how great the voters passed it over ten years ago and are finally getting it.

  • TAX AND REGULATE !!

  • Of course you can grow your own!

There are ctizens who can't . For those citizens they will seek a source. So in order to get it out of the hands of some street corner distributor, and out of the hands of some CARTEL, there needs to be an outlet to buy it. Of course, unless you grow your own, you don't know how it was treated, pestiside etc., when grown. Taxing over the counter sales, and regulating/monitoring how it's grown and processed on a comercial bases makes sense

  • Dont Legalize, Just Decriminalize.

  • legalize !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What about I-1068 in Washington state? What about Sensible Washington? I have not heard a word from MPP on this initiative?

  • You can tell buddy on the right smokes because of how he's holding that pen exactly like you'd hold a joint ;)

  • those " CRIMINALS " are only criminals because the Vatican wants to control God

  • We should set up coffee shops and charge a fee for them to let people smoke cannabis and then tax this and the money made in the shop, people could meet up there to smoke the weed. This money could go towards any healthcare for the smokers and keep the goverment happy.

  • Tax, tax, tax, blah, blah, blah.

I understand why this is a talking point, but I really despise that such a healthy and natural source of medicine is so eagerly being advanced as something to tax. I'll grow my own. Fuck the state. They throw users in jail for 50+ years and then expect us to turn around and start paying them homage for living how we want? Fuck them. Government officials are good for absolutely nothing but causing trouble. They're the real criminals. It's extortion, period.

  • The Pot Prohibition Complex, a division of the Military Industrial Complex benefits hugely from prohibition. The gamut of players involved in the production and distribution of cannabis from organized crime, law enforcement, the prison industry and the pharmaceutical industry represent a powerful lobby against prohibition repeal. Also the government can use the draconian laws to control specific ethnic and social groups.

  • If you stay hot on their butts, they will realize that making marijuana medical, is not the best thing to do, the BEST thing to do to totally decrimanlize and regulate LEGAL Marijuana Where is the common sense, the USA could have legal funds coming in to the US WOW Talk about a shot in the arm, the US would come out of the red and in to the black!!!

YEAH NEVADA, The Entire US Will follow - The US Government needs to tax everybody even if they don't use it,,so there!!!!

  • @justice1thunder The idea is to get medical moving so that the society at large gets used to the idea of marijuana not being the boogeyman that the state makes it out to be. Then, when people get used to it being around, more laws are passed for legalization, taxation, and regulation.

  • Hey Yeah I Agree However The Sooner The Better I always Say, but my opinion is like the thing everybody has, one of- Ha!!!!

Keep up the good work we are getting there!!!!

  • No wonder weed's still illegal...the things i leave in the toilet are more interesting than you

  • i have to ask what the hell you are talking about ?

  • @keepsitreal0055 , Would the things you leave in the toilet be your brain cells?

  • @99minerkc you are so clever

  • Two handsome warriors in the fight against dumbfuck-drug-policy. DDP <3

  • Fuck medical marijuana - Howabout Recreational ?

  • hopefully once medical marijuana is legal everywhere they will start to think of making it completely legal

  • lol seth rogen and mclovin

  • @jkss3493 LMFAO

  • Rated 5/5

  • I for one will not except getting a fine for possessing my medicine. That still means that it is a crime to naturally medicate for my pain. License,Permit or whatever we want to call it, if this will not protect us from criminal prosecution, then no matter what we do, We are still criminals in their eyes!

  • It all comes down to who has the gold and whoever has the gold makes the rules!

  • thank you for your analysis.

  • Medicinal Marijuana is so pointless. Let's stop the bullshit, the point is to legalize for everyone and we should put in our bodies what we choose.

  • pointless? what the fuck are you talking about? have you ever met a cancer patient going through chemo? do you know what its like to not be able to fuckin eat?

  • While that is absolutely true I think that marijuana has much more of a purpose medicinally unlike say, heroine, which is something,as you said, something we should be able to put in our body if we want to.

  • are you guys not doing the 2 minute truths anymore on your channel?

  • i wana burn one with these guys they are doing good stuff

  • I wish we could get medical marijuana in Pennsylvania. I'm not seeing any changes in PA's marijuana laws.

  • Medical Marijuana is BULLSHIT! it should be legal for everyone to use not just sick people or those who pretend to be sick!

  • Yeah, for sure, but if it has to happen in increments, it's cool with me if the sick get it first.

  • Bad tie = worse than wearing no tie at all

  • @GOPSpinMachineInOD i like it lol

  • keep up the good work!

  • Great work guys

  • thank you

  • who cares, there is a reason that pot is illegal, go get a job.

  • @phoflex And that reason is..?

  • @phoflex

I'm with mr.philly here... what is the reason? Smart Ass!

These stupid laws that ban the use of chemicals like alcohol or Marijuana have been proven to do Far more harm than good, and in countries like Holland/The Netherlands (where it's legal) it's not a big issue at all... when kids on the streets are asked what they think about Marijuana they are gonna tell you it's nothing special, cause nobody cares about a harmless substance.

  • obviously everyone who watching this cares and so do you for watching it don't lie and say you don't because you already cared enough to take time out of your day, comment and watch this video. you care even more if you take more time to respond

  • What?...

    I think you misunderstood.

I was saying that nobody should care about this drug because it's harmless, and it's kinda funny that everybody thinks there was a reason why it was banned, when there wasn't, because only greedy people got something out of banning it.

I'm just saying that those idiots who think this drug is harmful are just brainwashed idiots, because this drug simply doesn't harm anyone.

  • @DavySigfusson oooo got ya

  • keep it up!

  • like i always say, using logic and well thought out arguments are never effective when the gov. would have to admit they were wrong on anything let alone 20 million+ jailed for it

  • I cant wait for this wave of legalization to reach texas. And for that matter i thought the whole reason its illegal was because it has thc but my friend who was drug tested a week ago tested positive for thc after being prescribed marinol...this governments full of hypocrites it seems.

  • im a go get me some marinol!

  • medicinal cannabis is not some swaggy brown crap grown in mexico...it is well cared for and very potent in either sativa (body pain) and/or indica (head/mental problems, etc). Very little is needed for the plant to do its miracle. I am a medical cannabis patient and i am so happy to not have to take so many pills for my sinuses! Id need an operation if it wasnt for it! Cannabis has NEVER killed someone. Grow it Dry it Smoke/Vaporise/Eat it ...how more natural can you get?

  • The more pot the DEA seizes the higher the price gets and the more motivation there is to grow & sell it.

  • A++++ work

  • Keep it up guys I love watching your videos~!

  • Mpp , love you guys ... may the truth set us free!

  • I recently dislocated my shoulder and a torn rotator cuff. I was prescribed Demerol which is basically morphine, this was actually not helping with the pain it only made me tired. A friend who is a patient in Colorado gave me a small bud and to my surprise the pain went away immediately. I am a believer now. Keep up the good work guys.

  • I'd like to see marijuana just legalized and not taxed or regulated, but that's probably asking for too much.

  • What they mean by taxed and regulated is that it works just like any other product that is sold on a legal market.

Anything that the clerk sells at his store is taxed later on, and some items like tobacco are taxed before they even enter the store.

  • I know what they meant and I mean exactly what I said. (I'm a right Libertarian)

  • Why should there be a limitation on the amount of dispensories?

You would think the FREE market would determine that

  • I really appreciate your guys hard work and dedication.

You guys definitely need to look into live broadcasting on USTREAM or Stickam.

Not to take anything away from YouTube. I really like the uploading of videos.

But those 2 sites are perfect for free online live video feeds. You could get a player and attach it to your main webpage. And those sites also have a large following base. So you could network and get your message out to the message. Please consider.

  • LOL is Mike even 18? That kid would get carded to buy smokes.

  • @matthewj1985

I'd card him for formula milk. lol

  • jk homeland security is an oxymoron.

    rhymes with...

  • Why not just bring the Laguadie Report or the Nixon pot report. That should do it!

  • cuz then it would be CPP and that sounds gross. no but jk i completely agree. marijuana is a false term like homeland security. oh shit shouldnt uh said that.

  • Great work guys!

  • One question out of subject.

Why ''Marijuana'' Policy Project and not ''Cannabis'' Policy Project?

  • I agree Marijuana is a bad word. It was first used as a derogatory term. It is a bastardized tobacco plant that grows wild in Mexico. isn't?

  • @floydbumby ur a fuckin dumbass

  • Marijuana is a wild tobacco plant. They gave the name Marijuana to Cannabis because it is Mexican and it was a way to make it sound undesirable. They didn't like Mexicans back then either. So... equate the Cannabis plant with Mexicans and people will disslike it as they disslike the people. Both race hate and the fact that the people in control at the time had competing industries to hemp/Cannabis in wood and polymer plastic are what led to prohibition. Read a book Heibnat1

  • its not a wild tabacco plant its tottaly diferent. the reason it was made illegal was when a the government and a man ran a monoply to create a large profit and ppl made paper cheaper w/ hemp

  • your a fool. There is a wild tobacco plant that is found in Mexico. Its Name was Marijuana Prohibitionist took its name and applied it to cannabis as a slur against it. It sounded Mexican and that would scare people.Wait I just read your post again. You don't understand my point at all and you can't spell. Are you a child? Am I arguing with a child? Now I am a dumbass.

  • you sir are correct on the history of marijuana's name

  • interesting

  • ppl wont take u seriously till u iron the sheet!!

  • hahaha

  • At least it's not plain white. Should add more colour though.

  • Still waiting for some news on Florida, love your work guys.

  • greetings from the Uk - keep up the good work guys

  • nice!

  • Love
