@TheCoon2000 as polled by the Socialist Worker. The British voters kept her in power longer than any British Prime Minister since the early 19 century. Not a bad opinion poll from the electorate.....
During 1978 Britains standard of living rose by 6.4% to reach it's highest ever level, we didn't need this old bastard in office! within a few years she destroyed working class communities, she closed the steelworks, she closed the docks, she closed the mines there were 4 million people unemployed and of course the dreaded poll tax, meantime the rich got richer

Ireland Argentina The UK, Your deeds would shame all the devils in hell.
Thatcher inherited 3 million unemployed from the Labour party, a wing of the KGB. Brown has left the UK with 5 million unemployed, 12% deficit and a 50% tax that will prevent nay growth for the next generation until it is cut.
@warriorprince1010 Argh, no no no you've got that very wrong. Thatcher did not inherit a huge unemployment rate, she created it herself. It was part of her economic experiment. Crime trebled under her- never forget that!
@ToaJoe No Thatcher inherited 3 million unemployed due to high taxes and KGB funded strikes from radical unions. Thatcher did not cut taxes quick enough and thus the economy stagnated.
@warriorprince1010 Are you on crack? High taxes, union disater, that's true. But saying Thatcher inherited and didn't cause a huge rise in unemployment is like telling me Tony Blair inherited plans to invade Iraq. Put down the crack pipe, and show me some proof.
@ToaJoe I have never taken drugs. Thatcher inherited 3 million unemployment. She failed to cut taxes and so unemployment stagnated. Under Labour unemployment went through the roof.
@warriorprince1010 I didn't dispute that, dumbass. Unemployment was bad under Callaghan, no doubt about it. But it is a well known fact that over the next 18 years of Tory rule, unemployment soared. Now show me proof that Thatcher didn't increase unemployment.
@ToaJoe It is not a well known fact. The BBC may promote it as propaganda, but unemployment was 3 million when Thatcher got power, it is now 5 million under Brown.
@ToaJoe What a cruel idiot you are. The unemployment in the UK is 5 million it is a record. 16% is also a record. High taxes and benefits for votes scandal has indeed hurt the poor, and that is the intention.
@ToaJoe 2.5 million human beings you hid on benefits in the hope they would vote Labour every 4 years,. 92% of them were fit to work and wanted to work. You made sure minimum wage was lower than benefits so unskilled citizens went onto benefits in the hope they would vote Labour. Evil...socialism.
@ToaJoe Poor attempt, I will condemn the tories on other videos. The conservatives are more honest they never say they care for the poor, Labour says they do then taxes them into unemployment and poverty.
Margaret Thatcher, one of the best prime minister's the UK ever had. Lasted for 11 years!!!! wow!! elected 3 times!! Saved the Falkland Islands from the idiot Argentines!!
You should rather thank for incompetent Soviet leadership from the very beginning of SU, especially for Gorbatchev, who - if he wanted - could have taken SU into what we call today "chinese route". Instead, he delivered cripling blow on struggling power,by neglecting economy and taking social reforms first.
BTW: Big Spender Reagan and conservative Thatcher are two distinct personalities.
you almost explained the meaning of the phrase selfish.
keep your money for yourself.
Really I'm not political and you certainly know much more on the subject than me.
I'm not personally attacking you either but I just can't think of anything more selfish than keeping all your money and not letting the needy have a bit.
anyway if you vote labour or conservative your going to get the same probably .
Im gonna look up polltax now because I would like to know what that was all about.
Anyone who bought there council house from her regime should pay the money back .
Morally its the correct thing to do.
Anyone who loves her is seriously deluded. How can you blame an economic crisis on Gordon Brown.
Maybe he could lower taxes that would help everyone.
No it would help you personally.
Did you notice that most people who sold their flats now have children who rent the same places from landlords who charge silly prices for the priviledge. conservatives =selfish people
Conservatives are selfish? They arent the ones who want to officially rob peoples hard earned money to give to others. Conservatives allow people to keep the money they have worked hard for.
@doublaar What is this nonsense about paying money back having brought a council house? Who are you, or anyone else, to say that certain people - because of the social class they belong to - don't have the right to own property?
You are advocating state control over the lives of the individual and what you argue for ultimately robs ordinary people of their liberty, makes them subservient to government and destroys social mobility.
@UnitedBritannia Yes, because America is so renowned for it's social mobility where the government has no power over the companies.
You neoliberals seem to forget that right across the Atlantic there's a perfect example of how liberalism can completely and utterly destroy a society, instead of trying to adopt your fuck-all policies into Europe move to the USA and see how you like it there.
@doublaar As for Gordon Brown - Britain is worst placed of all major economies in this recession for the simple reason that he actively propped up a faulty and dangerous banking model (by creating a wholly ineffective regulation system) and then exploited the tax revenues from which to rack up huge amounts of public debt (in order to buy off the electorate) so that there were no reserves left in the public finances to help offset the bust.
@doublaar If you really are foolish enough to buy the spin and bullshit perpetuated by our corrupt, undemocratic and rotten Labour government about the Conservatives being "selfish" than there is no hope for you.
Read, research, ask questions and know your history. Don't just believe what Gordon Brown's press officers spoon feed to you via the media; he has presided over decline, debt, assault on our civil liberties and democracy and a halt to social mobility - in short, he's an utter disgrace.
They don't stand up for the little guy, they don't stand up for individual liberties and empowering the poor to establish wealth for themselves and their families. They stand for bigger government and creating a more uniform, homogeneous society.
@UnitedBritannia You're a perfect example why I've stopped trying to argue on youtube. Some people just have their head so far up their ass they're blind and deaf to reality.
And there i was thinking i was surrounded by ignorant cretins, Watching "BBC Practically infested with Labour supporters"... I Tell you what. Labour has been sending us to hell... Looking after "poor families" who might i add, most of them live on estates, giving birth for child support, etc. Labour has beed stealing from the working class now, for to long. Seeming as most of our taxes, Go to parasites. living off decent members of society...
@doublaar All conservatives are selfish? Even conservatives in countries other than britain? So if a man gave away large portions of his income to charity but votes conservative he is selfish? or if another man takes from everyone he see's but votes labour, is he selfish? seriously don't generalise
The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is,
the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.
"Charity" you say, unless he gives the exact same amount of money he gives to charity as he would give to paying taxes he's selfish, and if he does then what's the point? The money that goes into charity ends up in some CEO's bank account anyway.
@atosafi1 Do you gice as much money to charity as you give to tax? I am no conservative (not socially anyway, i am very liberal) but i have to say, to function in a capitalist society you must be selfish to some degree, otherwise you end up in the gutter. Even the greatest philanthropists have to keep some money to survive.
I use a toilet, car, roads, education, healthcare and clothes aswell. Your point is? That since I hate Crapitalism I shouldn't use anything that PEOPLE(as in, not Capitalism) have made?
You shouldn't use welfare, social security, public transport, libraries, schools or hospitals because all those were reforms pushed on by socialists and left-wingers.
@atosafi1 When did i say i didnt support those things. i believe strongly in a firm social net, welfare, public school and hospitals. THere needs to be both a private and public system for man things.
@TheLolbot3000 Many, sorry. I meant to point out that capitalism has created so many great things, and with a social net to help those less fortunate, society works well. A mix of people and theire freedoms/independence and the government support. Extremes dont work, a bit of both does :D.
@atosafi1 I disagree. If you use the money for means other than personal gain, then there's little selfishness involved.
If a person uses their intellect to gain money in order to help the poor and needy, then "moral justification for selfishness" goes out the window. You could argue that it's the same, but I would rather believe it's a mixture between being clever and being kind.
@doublaar Does a man not have the right to the fruits of his labour? Sure, some of that money might be taken for the greater good, but if one works and becomes succesful, is it morally the right thing to do to steal most of that money and give it to those who havent earnt it? Even if the poor are in need of help, a line must be drawn of how much people are taxed. So u are calling people who work hard to feed their families and want to keep their money selfish?
Because typing "STRONG" in capital letters makes your point better.
I ask you, how does attacking a militarily weak country make us strong? Or how poll tax made us strong. Or selling British buisnesses to foreign companies made us strong. Or even better, how destroying a labour union made us strong.
The fact is it doesnt. You just need to get someone on your side like Rupert Murdoch and things that made the country worse seem to magically make it better and STRONG.
You make a STRONGER point xxksaoXX than shoeme69 .You present your points he doesn,t.
As for his comment that the country is selling out, His hero sold us out long ago.
Who, I repeat who, sold our manufacturing industry out? yes!manufacturing, the backbone of our country,s economy. The only way out of recession is to sell your produce thanks to her we don,t produce anymore.
Non so blind as those who refuse to see is an understatement where people like the barefooted sixty niner are concerned
No-one was buying our manufacturing because it was untrustworthy, expensive and shit. The reason it was so expensive was because of the unions constantly increasing wages and the reason it was so untrustworthy and shit was because the unions stopped apprenticeships (calling it "slave labour") and called strikes every other week. So the government had to bail companies out all the time, spending massive amounts of money for companies that simply couldnt sort themselves out. Better to let them go
Companies that COULD survive in the real world did. It prevented national bankruptcy and allowed the country to move on. The industries died in the 60s and 70s. The unions killed them and Labour kept them going as zombie industries. In Lancashire (my homeland) the cotton mills shut in the 60s and everyone moved on. In the North-East and Wales companies were kept alive past death and this stalled the natural cycle. When they finally went in the 80s the people could not move on, no jobs.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Thatcher is seen as hero to the rich and Big Buisness for and lowering the wage of the working class. Privitisation led to less efficient and more expensive types of buisiness. Thatcher is/ was the embodiement of all that is wrong with the United Kingdom.

Thatcher inherited 3 million unemployed from the Labour party, a wing of the KGB. Brown has left the UK with 5 million unemployed, 12% deficit and a 50% tax that will prevent nay growth for the next generation until it is cut.
warriorprince1010 1 year ago
@warriorprince1010 Argh, no no no you've got that very wrong. Thatcher did not inherit a huge unemployment rate, she created it herself. It was part of her economic experiment. Crime trebled under her- never forget that!
ToaJoe 1 year ago
@ToaJoe No Thatcher inherited 3 million unemployed due to high taxes and KGB funded strikes from radical unions. Thatcher did not cut taxes quick enough and thus the economy stagnated.
warriorprince1010 1 year ago
@warriorprince1010 Are you on crack? High taxes, union disater, that's true. But saying Thatcher inherited and didn't cause a huge rise in unemployment is like telling me Tony Blair inherited plans to invade Iraq. Put down the crack pipe, and show me some proof.
ToaJoe 1 year ago
@ToaJoe I have never taken drugs. Thatcher inherited 3 million unemployment. She failed to cut taxes and so unemployment stagnated. Under Labour unemployment went through the roof.
warriorprince1010 1 year ago
@warriorprince1010 Proof, please.
ToaJoe 1 year ago
@ToaJoe I need proof that unemployment was going down as Thatcher entered power first. Then I will send you some, I have a graph.
warriorprince1010 1 year ago
@warriorprince1010 I didn't dispute that, dumbass. Unemployment was bad under Callaghan, no doubt about it. But it is a well known fact that over the next 18 years of Tory rule, unemployment soared. Now show me proof that Thatcher didn't increase unemployment.
ToaJoe 1 year ago
@ToaJoe It is not a well known fact. The BBC may promote it as propaganda, but unemployment was 3 million when Thatcher got power, it is now 5 million under Brown.
warriorprince1010 1 year ago
@warriorprince1010 Have you not taken into account population increase, dumbass? 3 million compared to 5 million now is ridiculous.
You haven't prooved your point, therefore you are wrong.
ToaJoe 1 year ago
@ToaJoe What a cruel idiot you are. The unemployment in the UK is 5 million it is a record. 16% is also a record. High taxes and benefits for votes scandal has indeed hurt the poor, and that is the intention.
warriorprince1010 1 year ago
@warriorprince1010 False benefit claimers are a minority of cunts, which the daily mail and other racist newspapers seem to forget.
ToaJoe 1 year ago
@ToaJoe 2.5 million human beings you hid on benefits in the hope they would vote Labour every 4 years,. 92% of them were fit to work and wanted to work. You made sure minimum wage was lower than benefits so unskilled citizens went onto benefits in the hope they would vote Labour. Evil...socialism.

@warriorprince1010 I'm sick of talking to brainwashed Tories like yourself, so I'm not going to reply.

@ToaJoe Poor attempt, I will condemn the tories on other videos. The conservatives are more honest they never say they care for the poor, Labour says they do then taxes them into unemployment and poverty.

So Keep worshipping your shit idols.
By the way New Labour used Conservatives as their template ,That's why coke head Cameron's mrs votes for them.

you almost explained the meaning of the phrase selfish.
keep your money for yourself.

Did you notice that most people who sold their flats now have children who rent the same places from landlords who charge silly prices for the priviledge. conservatives =selfish people
doublaar 2 years ago
Conservatives are selfish? They arent the ones who want to officially rob peoples hard earned money to give to others. Conservatives allow people to keep the money they have worked hard for.
thebigJM92 2 years ago 4
@doublaar What is this nonsense about paying money back having brought a council house? Who are you, or anyone else, to say that certain people - because of the social class they belong to - don't have the right to own property?
You are advocating state control over the lives of the individual and what you argue for ultimately robs ordinary people of their liberty, makes them subservient to government and destroys social mobility.
UnitedBritannia 2 years ago 11
@UnitedBritannia Yes, because America is so renowned for it's social mobility where the government has no power over the companies.
You neoliberals seem to forget that right across the Atlantic there's a perfect example of how liberalism can completely and utterly destroy a society, instead of trying to adopt your fuck-all policies into Europe move to the USA and see how you like it there.
atosafi1 1 year ago
@doublaar As for Gordon Brown - Britain is worst placed of all major economies in this recession for the simple reason that he actively propped up a faulty and dangerous banking model (by creating a wholly ineffective regulation system) and then exploited the tax revenues from which to rack up huge amounts of public debt (in order to buy off the electorate) so that there were no reserves left in the public finances to help offset the bust.
UnitedBritannia 2 years ago 14

@doublaar If you really are foolish enough to buy the spin and bullshit perpetuated by our corrupt, undemocratic and rotten Labour government about the Conservatives being "selfish" than there is no hope for you.
Read, research, ask questions and know your history. Don't just believe what Gordon Brown's press officers spoon feed to you via the media; he has presided over decline, debt, assault on our civil liberties and democracy and a halt to social mobility - in short, he's an utter disgrace.

@doublaar All conservatives are selfish? Even conservatives in countries other than britain? So if a man gave away large portions of his income to charity but votes conservative he is selfish? or if another man takes from everyone he see's but votes labour, is he selfish? seriously don't generalise
TheLolbot3000 1 year ago
@TheLolbot3000
The money that goes into charity ends up in some CEO's bank account anyway.
atosafi1 1 year ago
@atosafi1 Do you gice as much money to charity as you give to tax? I am no conservative (not socially anyway, i am very liberal) but i have to say, to function in a capitalist society you must be selfish to some degree, otherwise you end up in the gutter. Even the greatest philanthropists have to keep some money to survive.
TheLolbot3000 1 year ago
@TheLolbot3000 No, since I pay taxes.
I'm not fond of capitalism so.
atosafi1 1 year ago
@atosafi1 Yet u use the ineternet, one of the many fruits of capitalism. I do not understand how u can dislike capitalism
TheLolbot3000 1 year ago
@TheLolbot3000
I use a toilet, car, roads, education, healthcare and clothes aswell. Your point is? That since I hate Crapitalism I shouldn't use anything that PEOPLE(as in, not Capitalism) have made?
You shouldn't use welfare, social security, public transport, libraries, schools or hospitals because all those were reforms pushed on by socialists and left-wingers.
atosafi1 1 year ago
@atosafi1 When did i say i didnt support those things. i believe strongly in a firm social net, welfare, public school and hospitals. THere needs to be both a private and public system for man things.
TheLolbot3000 1 year ago
@TheLolbot3000 Many, sorry. I meant to point out that capitalism has created so many great things, and with a social net to help those less fortunate, society works well. A mix of people and theire freedoms/independence and the government support. Extremes dont work, a bit of both does :D.
TheLolbot3000 1 year ago
@atosafi1 I disagree. If you use the money for means other than personal gain, then there's little selfishness involved.
If a person uses their intellect to gain money in order to help the poor and needy, then "moral justification for selfishness" goes out the window. You could argue that it's the same, but I would rather believe it's a mixture between being clever and being kind.
Wikkiter 1 year ago
@doublaar Does a man not have the right to the fruits of his labour? Sure, some of that money might be taken for the greater good, but if one works and becomes succesful, is it morally the right thing to do to steal most of that money and give it to those who havent earnt it? Even if the poor are in need of help, a line must be drawn of how much people are taxed. So u are calling people who work hard to feed their families and want to keep their money selfish?
TheLolbot3000 10 months ago

Why does everyone think that I am a labour supporter?
I like it very much, because without supplying any proof that she made us STRONG it just shows you have no idea what you are talking about.
xxksaoXX 2 years ago
Because typing "STRONG" in capital letters makes your point better.
I ask you, how does attacking a militarily weak country make us strong? Or how poll tax made us strong. Or selling British buisnesses to foreign companies made us strong. Or even better, how destroying a labour union made us strong.
The fact is it doesnt. You just need to get someone on your side like Rupert Murdoch and things that made the country worse seem to magically make it better and STRONG.
xxksaoXX 2 years ago
You make a STRONGER point xxksaoXX than shoeme69 .You present your points he doesn,t.
As for his comment that the country is selling out, His hero sold us out long ago.
Who, I repeat who, sold our manufacturing industry out? yes!manufacturing, the backbone of our country,s economy. The only way out of recession is to sell your produce thanks to her we don,t produce anymore.
Non so blind as those who refuse to see is an understatement where people like the barefooted sixty niner are concerned
intheblood1 2 years ago
No-one was buying our manufacturing because it was untrustworthy, expensive and shit. The reason it was so expensive was because of the unions constantly increasing wages and the reason it was so untrustworthy and shit was because the unions stopped apprenticeships (calling it "slave labour") and called strikes every other week. So the government had to bail companies out all the time, spending massive amounts of money for companies that simply couldnt sort themselves out. Better to let them go
thebigJM92 2 years ago
Companies that COULD survive in the real world did. It prevented national bankruptcy and allowed the country to move on. The industries died in the 60s and 70s. The unions killed them and Labour kept them going as zombie industries. In Lancashire (my homeland) the cotton mills shut in the 60s and everyone moved on. In the North-East and Wales companies were kept alive past death and this stalled the natural cycle. When they finally went in the 80s the people could not move on, no jobs.

Thatcher is seen as hero to the rich and Big Buisness for and lowering the wage of the working class. Privitisation led to less efficient and more expensive types of buisiness. Thatcher is/ was the embodiement of all that is wrong with the United Kingdom.
