Let's try a little fact and reality. In order to protect the PRIVATE INSURANCE INDUSTRY, the individual mandate was created. When there is guaranteed issue and no pre-existing condition exclusion, insurers (THE PRIVATE SECTOR COMPANIES) would be at risk because a healthy person would not carry insurance and only purchase it when diagnosed as ill.
DO YOU GET IT YET? This was PROTECTION for insurers.
